  3. Elizabeth II 6d is a Limited mintage of only 1,152 coins an UNC in McDonalds is $425 choice UNC $725 Gem $1250 and proof $55,000 Similar Applied to the 3d, limited mintage of 7664 and a proof would cost $47,500 and gem is $385 so i guess they don't come up often
  4. Lol, Hermes bags at 45k. They have a store in the Centre of Munich, might Pop in and pick up one of the cheaper options and ship it over
  5. Problem being Vicky, is that you have to submit $5000 worth of coins at least, so having 1 coin in such a grade is as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Let's hope so, but somehow I doubt it. Don't think so. Just found some private listings that started today. I doubt it either because they get revenue for a private listing, but if sellers are savvy enough they'd now realise that they don't now need to do a private listing which would in Turn reduction ebays revenue, so when they (ebay) start to notice that they might change the FB system yet again

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Its a bloody joke and as Clive said, it will only serve to encourage shill bidding which looks like what ebay wants to increase their revenue. Greedy bar stewards. As you also said Nick, its pointless leaving FB at all now, although i always wait until its been left for me and have a small List to leave FB for, but seriously, whats the point now, what are ebay playing at?

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Anyone noticed the new ebay Feedback yet? Ist like the bidding System where you only see 2 partial Initials.
  13. Never bidded with Heritage and never will due to the very reason you've pointed out. People seem to bid like fools are the Meer words "Heritage auction" Stuart submitted 2 and they declined them because they were'nt value at $5000, so you can see the type of clients they're looking for

    2008 £1 Coin

Cracking question. It could be a donkey though
  17. You'll probably not get a reaction from the American community because they won't hear that coins can be AT due to the fact they pay well over the odds for those coins and they would'nt want to look completely fools by being fooled and wasting so much cash in the process. This toning thing was started by Americans who are largely into marketing and pyramid crap type deals, Tell 1 poor sould that your coin is worth $$$$s more because of a bit of colour then spreads by Word of mouth and the. Everyone wants a piece of the action, prices rose for Common coins and booooooom you have a whole new collecting area where you "MUST HAVE" that Rainbow coloured coin. Someone somewhere posted (coincommunity) i think it was, then directed here that a guy went to an NGC Seminar and was told a coin was AT toned if it did'nt follow the spectrum of the rainbow, yet an NGC graded coin Popped up toned and not in sequence of the rainbow, so there you see how stupid its all bekomme for them, ignoring their OWN apparent facts. Its like them telling us area51 does'nt exist even when the Population of planet earth knew it did, yet they Kept telling the American public that it did'nt and the majority believed them lol

  20. Lou Reed died in southampton lol
  21. Is anyone technologically gifted enough to copy the image of the reverse into a program that can adjust the contrast etc. I have tried to copy the jpg file off the screen, but it doesn't want to paste into another jpg file.On my screen it looks as if there is an ascending 45 degree line right off the bottom LHS serif of the 1 and a slight disturbance by the top serif, both of which would be commensurate with a 2 Davidrj is good with photoshop
  22. Something else bothering me about this Sovereign is the initials on the REV. The top of the BP seem Level with the top of the date, but comparing others of George V the bottom of the initials are level with the top of the date, might just be me or the picture. Anyone else, Stuart, can you compare yours?
  23. Raising a red flag as Rob has with Steve lockett you'd think they'd give it a good going over, we as hobbyists have raised several plausable Problems with the coin yet all he can say is "have you ever had one in the hand" does'nt seem very good ethics to me
