    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Not a laugh, more "it pisses me off" seller states its AU as per Holder, but what he's obviously not stating that it's an AU American Grade which is in effect an EF british Grade, then states it's the finest, when if you read further, its actually JOINT finest 221005640115 but it's only joint finest graded by NGC obviously
  2. Were you looking to remove some hair Peter? Brilliant review, but errrrrr, be careful down there

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

how thick are some people, the casting bubbles on the obverse are as clear as a pint of stella. They are indeed. But people are buying these things. And at some stage they will no doubt want to sell them and quite likely will be V Disappointed. And while I slightly sympathise with the old caveat emptor, a rip off is a rip off. And a particularly annoying one given that ebay, while clapping on about replicas, counterfeits and certification, have consistently done precisely nothing about such listings. Even when told. Its been relisted here 280860774001 and now states its a replica
  5. Yes, and from buckscoins lol........
  6. Unfortunately, the picture uploads don't appear to have worked? You're allowed 150kb max per post, or you can host them on photobucket and send the link with your next post

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

A love token too! :-) I've picked up on the MP thing along the way, was there a thread on it? I'm intrigued as to the details! ;-) Its quite a touchy subject, but in short, don't buy from him unless you really want to loosen the purse strings and get something thats cleaned/overgraded and has a helpful push along the way from his friends.......

I think the love token that Debbie found is more appropriate for Mr P

  13. His main account is probably suspended for some eBay violation or another, so he's using his wife's account. He normally throws the junk or overgraded stuff on his wifes account....country cottage interiors, she also has stars in her name. Yup, quite a few in there 120898861227 he must have had a suspension for overgrading
  14. Lol, no card from MP, was quite dissapointed, hopefully i'll be on his xmas card list. Thanks for the Birthday wishes.
  15. I have'nt looked at the website in 2 months lol
  16. You should maybe ask him how he came by the coin. To be honest it looks more like a gallery picture other than something he's taken himself and could possibly have found the picture on the internet

  20. Or was the O in VICTORIA actually a C from VICTORIA. Both seem to have the same shape. See what you think.
  21. I have Williams coins seperated, those will not be sold, i'll also keep trying to buy for him, but unfortunately i can't keep up with everyhing, so will try and earn a few quid with my interest in coins (which will never dissapear i might add) and i'll still be on the forum pissing everyone off with my over enthusiasm..... In short, i'm still doing what i'm doing for William, but will be obviously only trying to earn cash now to stash for his future and hopefully we and the Faru can try and buy something eventually in a nice sunny climate if he ever needs to get out of Germany, when he was in Turkey last year he never had a problem, sunny climate, sea air, came back to Germany after 3 weeks and was in hospital after 2 weeks being back.
  22. Thanks ladies and gent....Yes he's getting better, but when he goes into hospital it seems to be for a month at a time. When he was born he spent the 1st 3 months in an incubator. I just feel like i'm not spending enough time with him, trying to buy and sell and collect coins does take a lot of time away from your family plus a job to go to, so something suffers in the end. I'd now rather just do a bit part buy/sell, its something i enjoy and maybe one day give up the day job.....Until that day arrives (and hell freezes over) lol P.s, thats my son in my avtar
