    CGS grading service

I keep asking the same question about CGS, so Let's try another way, don't mosr of us say that 1 mans grade is Not anothers, yet we're letting One man Tell us what is what, what are Hus credentials and who made him king of the UK grading system? I'm only asking because a Lot of People take His grading and grading method as gospel, why?

    CGS grading service

PCGS are not just across the pond, they also have certified graders in various EU countries, i've got 5 names in Germany and bought coins from 3 of them (unslabbed) i didn't actually realise that they did that until i emailed the French PCGS and She Sent me a link to the German certified graders, so i'm sure there must be someone in the UK to
  3. The 2nd coin was just for cimparisson against the 1sr Rob. Might be that the 1st was a good early strike

We actually have a PCGS certified grader in Munich. I emailed the Frau at the new PCGS place in Paris and she gave me a list of German PCGS approved graders, one of which i met last week at the Munich coin fair, but i know the guy, or know of him in Munich, he has a shop in one of the poshest districts in Munich, so after its in hand and obligatory pics taken, weighed and measured i'll be heading directly over to him for (more authenticity) and grade of the 1905 Halfcrown Taking it's time to arrive isn't it ? Is that a whiff of fish..... No its a whiff of me making an arse of the international bank transfer, which i didn't realise until they emailed me asking where the payment was

  6. From a visual inspection, the first example looks to be the 'keeper'. But it would have been better if you'd reduced the image size and put both side by side in the same image - it's quite hard to make a comparison when you keep having to go "NEXT" "PREV" "NEXT" "PREV" etc! I take good pix Peck, joining images i have'nt mastered yet unfortunately

  8. Must be one of the nicest busts i've seen on George, and no, i haven't bought it, just sharing my admiration of the coin
  9. There are bronzed currency coins in the Copper series, the colour would be as the bronzed proof, slighty 'watered down', but would have mirrored surfaces but not as highly polished as the proof. I have attached images of a Copper, Bronzed and Bronzed currency which may help. The 1st 2 look both prooflike to me lol
  10. Unfortunately Rob, i could only admire those 2. Quite a way out of my price range (for now at least)
  11. and the proof crown in copper.
  12. Found 2 more stunners, a crown in copper proof and an 1804 bank dollar in the same. Pix

  15. 750 quid, now to be honest, if i hadn't spent a bit on that 1905 Halfcrown (which will be here next week) then i might have been tempted, but considering i'm skint i'll just have to admire it for a while More to the point, WHERE is it going? Please don't say Germany... If i had the cash Peck then yes it would be coming to the fatherland, as it is, it's actually in the UK Hm. If you've decided against it, I don't suppose I could prevail on you for a DM with details? I've sent a PM Peck............
