Adding the 1862 on behalf of vicky silver -
The surfaces of the REV look as though they have been spray painted, it might just be the angle of the picture but they do look a little rough. Does the auction where you bought these do coins normally? Would they know a genuine American $5 from a fake one?

Top coin is the nicer of the 2, CGS 82 is as they state MS64-65, lets not forget that the American TPGs work to different principles than LCGS

There is one massive difference with art than there is with coins, art is always unique, it's a one off picture which won't be painted again, whereas coins have a mintage...Coins can be minted in seconds whereas a work of art can take weeks or months to produce....Different kettle of fish entirely -
@Paulus this was my matte proof Sov, this got a 62 grade because it had mint wipe marks, in all honesty i was disappointed as i thought it was much better than others i'd seen in the same grade, so if you're thinking of sending in proofs just make sure they have no wipe marks
-
I don't think they'll allow you to take pictures, the last place i viewed coins at stated pictures were strictly forbidden
-
I would have thought these would be tough for anyone to even find let alone grade
-
And just as a side salad on coin buying, Rob gave me good advice a while back, don't think about what is good about the coin, (big, bright and shiny etc) try and find it's bad points and reasons you wouldn't buy it.........TPGs love tone also, so you do get grade points for that (which i do find strange) although, when buying coins, eye appeal to the beholder is also an important point... Next year, i'm going to try a year with NGC and see how that goes, they have an office in Munich so i have no postage costs

I've seen this on YouTube, they basically try and help you hack your own machine and then tell you to give them money to unlock it, 1 guy actually locked their machine and then asked him for cash to unlock it
