  1. Yes, but funny when i asked DNW about it they left it and no email reply. If someone had of bought that it could have been an expensive learning curve, whoever consigned it will be p****d off as well i bet, DNW will have to send it to the mint

    Brexit and money talk

I doubt she'll get anywhere without the freedom of movement chapter which was why people partly voted for Brexit in the first place

  4. The coin pictured here is 2015. Looks like DNW have pulled it, saw it earlier this morning but seems to be gone now

    Importing coins

IMO it sounds like UPS are at fault, maybe you could contact Heritage with your complaint who could in turn contact UPS USA who can then contact UPS UK to find out what info they claimed was missing, my opinion would be not to pay the fee, let them send it back if needs be and if there was a problem get heritage to rectify it as they make the shipping labels, it might be just BS from the UPS UK as Heritage do shipping labels probably every week and i cannot see how they could mess 1 up
  6. Wow, and whoever wrote it doesn't sound a happy bunny either. No doubt it will be removed from the DNW sale shortly

    1946 & 1949 Brass Threepence

The worst part with live bidding is when you see a coin you want at estimate of say £100 and come the lot the opening bid is £600, your brain is trying to fathom out WTF just happened and should i bid and, what do they know
  8. DNW are attending the London coin fair on the 5th Nov, if there's no email reply regarding the one they have for sale maybe someone can ask them directly if anyone is going
  9. Just what i'm reading on the CCF website at the minute, one guy saying his work colleague was told to send it back to the RM and within a certain timeframe http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=270024
  10. Apparently they do when the name government is mentioned, but not if you mention fake
  11. Ebay are currently pulling these from auctions at the request of the Royal Mint, the mint are stating that they are Government property. I have sent a request to DNW regarding the one they have in sale and asking if the Trial strike they are selling can be legally sold, no answer as yet, there is a thread on the CCF forum about one of these, one guy has to send his back that he bought from ebay and has only a certain time to do so
  12. It's definitely in Spinks, just looked it up and has it as Extremely rare as Nick says B/RRITANNIAR. Another to add onto your list @jaggy

    Trump v Clinton

13.5 million views, has Hilary been naughty since her husband was in power?

    Trump v Clinton

So why hasn't Gary Johnson been invited into the TV debates where only Trump and Clinton have been on air? Just because they are the 2 main candidates? Shouldn't all candidates get the same stage?

    Trump v Clinton

Ah, so there is other options then, much like voting for UKIP instead of Labour

    Trump v Clinton

I was excited for Obama when he got elected, but iMO he took over at the worst possible time with the 2008 crash, then the much hated (i'm led to believe) Obama care health system. Not sure who Gary Johnson is @jaggy

    Trump v Clinton

I was speaking to an old girlfriend of mine who lives in Indiana about the election, and as a joke i said "so will you be voting for Trump" to my amazement she said yes Now don't get me wrong, this lady is highly intelligent, she worked for Eli Lilly in Indiana as a study drugs co-ordibator, also had an interview with the FBI for a forensic scientist and has MBAs coming out of her ears, i asked her why and she said it was due to the amount of Mexicans coming over the border putting a strain on their health system and in turn the tax payers paying for it, reminds me now of the Brexit scenario
  21. Thanks guys, all will be revealed soon
