Consistent to say the least, is there feedback from that buyer for the coins you watched last week?
-
Agreed, but again it seems that every bidder seems think that of Jon' coins as apparently they ALL seem to head off into the stratosphere
-
The colour is there, but he's accentuating to the max to make it look more colourful than it would appear in hand. There's still no way it should be away up at that end of the scale in terms of price though

I think you're right Alan, the coin he sold doesn't appear to be the same coin as the PCGS image as there's no scratch on the nose of the slabbed coin as far as i can see, so what has he sold? After a second look, it is the same coin

Hilary has been there since her husband was President and knows how diplomacy and deflecting akward questions work, where as Donald just keeps putting his large foot in his larger mouth and hasn't worked in a Government post. It makes you wonder if he's just the patsy for an already elected Hilary
-
He manipulates all his coin pictures to make them look more toned than they actually are because certain buyers like toned slabs

Watched lots of youtube videos, recently Robert DeNiro made a video about how Trump is an absolute idiot and how he would love to punch him in the face. The other videos of how Hilary has 2 sides of her personality, one that she portrays towards the media of the mother type and the other in private where she's like a little dictator towards the people who work alongside her. Now, i have nothing against American or Americans, but it's really worrying the direction their Government are taking, recent reports suggesting that they have to "take out" either Russia or China, looking between the lines there has been a trend emerging since 9/11. Instigating the Arab spring, then this whole Syrian conflict because Syria didn't want a Saudi oil pipeline going through their country, it's not a coincidence, it's being played out by the top men in American Government and it's not going to end well for this planet. Any president is merely a puppet for the people who are actually in power, the money men, those such as the Vanderbilts, the Bush family and others, those are the people who truly run America, Trump or Clinton, it doesn't really matter, but both are truly as bad as each other

Normally he gets a trigger finger on his gold, seems he's also having a go at the silver. Its a fairly common coin, in top grade i think max £500 in UNC is around it's price as it's nothing special apart from a bit of tone and that doesn't cost an extra £748 attached is the actual coin as per PCGS pictures, notice the difference in tone, heavily corrected in photoshop or whatever other software he uses. MP the II, if you scroll through this thread i highlighted where he had shilled up his auctions to the tune of 19k, the same winning bidder on all of them, 30mins after posting he had deleted all the auctions and had left 3 BINs This highlights the downfall of LCGS, being able to check the UIN against the population report, if people would check sometimes against his silver auctions you'd see a totally different coloured coin, it's joint 8th in their population report, in fact the auction record for one of these was $1265 sold at heritage for an MS65 sold 25th May 2012

If it's just the Jubilee head Sovereigns then Baldwins did something on it this year, here's the link https://issuu.com/jammdesign/docs/jubilee_brochure/1

I would agree with Nordle statement also, they won't just throw in 400k blanks and walk away, any control would be timed, just like when they run newspaper through a printing press, it's checked every so often for errors
-
After 3 months of waiting yes, but DNW also made an error and had packed someone else coin into my packet, so they had 2 people to compensate. I just left it as a credit with DNW against future purchases, they then said they'd only send with fedex in future
-
These 2 i bought from DNW in their NOV 215 sale lot 244 which were subsequently stolen by the delivery service on my end, both had CHISTO for CHRISTO error, one with adjustment marks and the other not
-
Doubtful, as there is some sort of control at the mint, even if it does seem crap judging by what they pump out
-
Correct, this is why i ask the question, as they generally take one, it's to poder the theory of there being just one, so if they also had one then it won't be unique. There's a chap who is frequenting coin news, the keeper or former keeper of the royal collection, throwing him the question would be good
-
Don't the Royals and the BM have any?

Surprised that only made a 63, they usually like colour and add points for it -

Well it did occur, but it seems to gouge the lion in the top left quadrant which then had me thinking it was the coin -

Was just having a look through DNWs next auction preview and seen the attached. Described as: BRITISH COINS, George IV (1820-1830), Proof Halfcrown, 1826, edge grained, 6h (ESC 2376; S 3809). About as struck, toned £1,000-1,200 Footnote Slabbed in CGS-UK holder, graded UNC 82 Surely those scratches running through the centre of the coin would get it rejected from CGS?
