Clicking on your google link Matt basically what it's doing is only turning off ads they deem relevant to you, it says you'll still get the ads but just more bullshit thats still irrelevant and still taking up my screen The thing is, going through other saved links to coin sites and other sites I don't get the same problem, so it has to be a specific predecimal problem

Yes I tried the scrolling scenario, I can read 1 line then scroll to the next, but I'd prefer to read the whole post without doing it read scroll read, also submit reply doesn't work on the Mac

The ads on the macbook are quite big, to the left and to the right of the screen. I click the X and report it, but then if I go to another thread they just pop up again, the take roughly 50% of the screen and reading content is almost impossible unless I scroll through each line after I've read it....

I still have ads on my ipad and still can't submit to this thread from the Mac. This problem never existed previously when using either of those, so IMO the problem must be down to the forum software if it's recently been upgraded. This has only just appeared on the MacBook today along with not being able to submit replies

Working for a boss who never wants to hear or implement ideas will always be frustrating, probably for the best that you left Declan. Chin up, you have a 5 litre bottle of wine at least
  17. Wow, that petition crown is something else. There's not much history in our modern day coinage, but The coinage back then is just full of it......
  18. I'm clarifying a question raised Pete, that's why this forum exists, to answer questions, regardless if it regards CGS LCGS or Londoncoins, the concept of this has been around since the forum started and even since you joined, i know you're sick of hearing it, but there might be another 2000 people who join in the next few years who are new to all this and will ask the same questions as we're answering right now, and it will be explained again and again and again...... Get used to that......
  19. Surely the coins are graded by the same people.......Whether in auction or from the grading arm, this was one of the reasons they shut down CGS due to the fact both LCs and CGS (the same people) couldn't cope with the submissions of the grading arm and the submissions into their auctions
  20. But LCGS and Londoncoins are one and the same, poor pictures which don't truly represent the coin which is for sale means they are trying to push the coin out for more than it's worth. I mentioned a few years back that someone had bought a coin from Londons in a certain grade, he then sent it off to CGS for grading and it came back lower than the grade he bought it in, yet they are the same people, strange eh
  21. What Nick means that the grading arm of Londoncoins use the same photography and to be able to view these pictures they are charging £99 a year
  22. Doesn't look mottled from the picture, more tarnished
  23. Their photo does a pretty good job of hiding the hairlines and rubbing on the cheek, although your pictures aren't great, you can still see more of the problems on the coin than you could on the Londons picture, i guess when they say hairlines and rubbing then they actually near what they say
  24. You have to laugh at the prices for that sh*t
