    Enthusiasm for collecting has stalled...

I think about 50% of people do, those are the ones who buy anything and everything, but take your time and work out what you want to keep, the extra cash will help towards something nice eventually......

    Enthusiasm for collecting has stalled...

Welcome Jimmy, may i make a suggestion, you said you'd bought coins from fairs only to take them home, pop them in a drawer and forget about them, you were obviously a little disappointed with what you bought. My suggestion is, go through your coins, what you want to keep and what you want to upgrade, sell those that you don't want to keep, and use the money for something a little rarer in good grade, you'll be satisfied again eventually, downsize a little and start in the higher end. A collection does.t absolutely mean 500 or 5000 coins, 10 coins can also mean a collection, better with 10 top notch or rare other than 500 or 5000 that are low grade. Hopefully you get mt point..
  7. But, to go against the vote of the country would be political suicide, with big Dave stepping down anyway he could do so i suppose and leave the next PM with a clean slate, but i think that scenario is highly doubtful meaning article 50 will be activated, anyone know how long they can wait before activating it? Perhaps they are waiting for the new Conservative leader to be chosen?
  8. Out of Europe twice in a week, a feat that will never be repeated, Dave and Roy should have swapped jobs earlier
  9. That will be decided by The voters and not a forum member
  10. Newsnight's Evan Davis loses it with Brexit leader who makes startling admission http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/newsnights-evan-davis-loses-brexit-8281875#ICID=ios_DailyRecordNewsApp_AppShare_Click_Other it seems that the Brexit vote was about Immigration which we Are now being told it won't ACTUALLY be cut by a brexit vote, wow, this whole thing has just been a tissue of lies by brexit campaigners
  11. Just goes to show exactly what some morons were actually voting for. Do these idiots think they'll be kicked onto a ferry and deported in 24hrs, these are the dangerous ones who can actually vote. I sometimes despair at society. I've been reading articles today where Poles and others from the EU now feel like they're not welcomed in the UK, nice way to alienate other productive members of society, honestly, some of these people should try living in a foreign country, not all are as racist as i believe the UK is right now
  12. If he does order a strike lets hope he can recognise the correct country and hope the city of belguim isn't on the list
  13. Lets not forget Guy Fawkes
  14. Think he was voted by the EU Parliament of which Britain was a part of, it was called democracy inside the Parliament when they voted...I believe Britain objected to him, but lets think about this, 49% of the people objected to Brexit, alls fair in love and war
  15. But surely if you want out then you shouldn't expect anything, which would also mean favours etc. When you vote NO, that means you leave, if Britain is due money, then it should be paid as part of the process and not expect favourable treatment when the door closes behind you. 2 sides to the arguments, 26 countires on one side and the UK on the other, the UK has to negotiate with these people, what does the UK have to offer in terms of export? Nada
  16. If you don't like it - try a dictatorship. (You can get a taste in the EU) Pot calling kettle there Geordie
  17. You should all realise by now that those who are in power will only bullshit the people to stay there. Scaremongering and lies is what they all give you. Don't be surprised when they win and they actually give you the reality.....
  18. As far as I'm aware and read, this isn't the case, both Germany and France have said they wouldn't make it an easy ride for the UK so that the rest of the EU doesn't try and renegotiate their membership
  19. I might be able to afford buying from British auction houses now, there is an upside
  20. All these MPs peddle lies to get elected, its nothing new, same thing happened during the independence vote in Scotland, same again in the General election. What does matter now is how to unite a nation which is split between in and out, how does the UK move forward. It will be an uncertain time during the next few months, but what i will say @mhcoins is that the stock markets rose yesterday on the thought that the UK will stay, where they got their info from i've no idea, but the £ has certainly dropped against the $, not seen anything yet against the euro though.... Who will steady the ship now is the next question with Cameron resigning
  21. Isn't mud slinging what they do in Parlliament instead of getting on with the job?
  22. Lol, thought this was funny.....You might want to be more scared of the upcoming youth
  23. And i'm completely with you on this Dave. I read somewhere the other day that Brussels told the UK that they must hand out child benefit to people who don't even have their children with them, i'm sure this doesn't happen in Germany, so why should it in the UK. I was speaking to the Frau the other day and i said that Brussels messes far to much in other countries laws etc, the EU should be about trade (which it was designed for in the first place) and for that reason i would have been an "out" voter
  24. Whatever happens, the next 24hrs will be interesting.....Cameron might be out of a job soon which would be an added bonus.... I'll be watching with interest
