    CGS UK & Ebay

The problem is that CGS slabs are only recognised by UK buyers, slab collectors generally want either PCGS or NGC slabs, a PCGS collector would crack open an NGC slab and send to PCGS.

I wouldn't break the 1904 out Nordle. £30 worth of slab there, unless of course you can't live with it being slabbed
  8. Ok, thanks for the replies......
  9. I compared the G of GRA with accumulators coin and that also didn't Look like it sloped and so went with the colon, to me it points to a bead and so thats why i asked, but i'll bow to the superior Knowledge. Any other factors on the REV that can attribute it, 1 in Date pointing to a bead etc?

  11. Prices come with grades, die numbers won't have much influence. Welcome to the forum.
  12. An EF gothic for £1200? If it looks EF I'd be buying it then sending it straight to CGS, it's too good to be true

The 1862/, 8/6, also looks like it is a 1862/1....... http://www.londoncoins.co.uk/?searchterm=1862+penny&searchtype=1&page=Catalogue Bob, when I click on your facebook link I get a message that I'm not part of the audience for that page - any suggestions ? Works OK for me ... nice to see that Martin and David are together at last I just checked it, and it is ok. The page is setup to accept all viewers. There might be a situation where you have to "Like" the page...not sure about that though. Thanks for visiting! ps Very noteworthy that Martin and Azda are shown together on the log, I know David feels very close with Martin! Ha,Ha! Mr P has me blocked since we had both "liked" another same page and had a brief discussion about his eBay dealings, don't think he liked that somehow

    Predict The Grade (again)

I would worry more if it wasn't toned as normally 1911 proofs come toned due to the box they were stored in, normally with a blue interior.
  17. There is no wear on Georgies eye so it would be a minimum EF, it's the first point of wear
  18. If the eye has wear it would be in the GVF range, as there appears to be no wear on the eye I would say at least EF and £60 is ok for it.
