  1. Brilliant. This is all interesting stuff. Is anyone aware of any studies, publications or focus on this issue? Cheers
  2. Hi, Yes, I understand the point you make. The point I was making is that the Spink values indicate a rarity or perhaps imply a rarity. The rarer the coin the more expensive. Look at 1697 3rd bust. The Spink price for the 'y' is cheapest of all 1697 3rd busts whereas ESC rarity states 'C' should be more common. See what I mean? or perhaps Spink feel a lot of 'y' have come to market whereas 'C' haven't !! Cheers
  3. Hi I'd be interested to know what people regard as the best way to sell. Frankly, I'm a bit despondent. Go to a dealer and you know they want to make 100% profit therefore they offer reduced value (obviously). Try eBay, they charge to load images, set reserves, promote listings, final value fees, and worst of all demand Paypal and the associated costs. What about London auction houses? The best I've done is to negotiate the sellers fee down to 8% but I was outraged by the poor description and not given an opportunity to provide my knowledge. Any ideas / thoughts would be appreciated..... Cheers
  4. Hi Thanks. Reply sent to your website direct Cheers

I want to BUY 1967 pennies

Hi Sorry, I've been away for a few days..... If anyone wants my bucket full of pennies, 1967 or otherwise, at better than scrap they are very welcome. Just get in touch. I'm not sure sending them "acrossthepond" will be cost effective but never mind eh ? I live near Basingstoke, Hampshire Cheers

I want to BUY 1967 pennies

I've got pot loads of 20th century coppers. Probably 10-15kg. Mostly worn circulated modern, but from 1911 to 1967 mostly. Any idea what kind of scrap value can be achieved? Thanks
