the royal mint had a £2 coin collectors album available to hold the entire collection, very similar to the freebie olympic holder they gave out over the summer for the 50p collectors. dont know if its still available, but a search may be worthwhile. i have the 50p album and its good for a freebie, ive seen the £2 card as well and its quite presentable.

yea been getting them emails for years.....ive also got a long lost brother whos is financial president of a bank in nigeria...........ive asked my mum..........she says no -
we have all at some point moaned about ebay prices for selling and paypal costs and dicks who dont get their coins etc etc........but we have to give them enormous credit for the great laughs theyve given us here on this forum, this last one being one of the best in my book.

well peck the thought had run through my mind, last year london had one for sale with an estimate of £500-600, it was apparently very scratched with no mention of that in the london catalogue.....he reckoned on it being worth maybe £300, it was so scratched it hammered at £1000 plus premium/vat the pics look really good!!!.

roman 1 proof.......a local coin dealer viewed it for me and said it wasnt as good as pics and had a score on the obverse.....from the pics it looks the mutz nutz.....i was going to push the boat out, but now not so sure what to do.

no need to take my word for it..... heres an article on die numbers....http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/dieno.html the number of the particular die used is above the date (usually) and for some coins can run to over 100....see the article. and heres a link within that article that shows a die number,http://www.coins-of-the-uk.co.uk/pics/qv/6d/dn77r.jpg A die pairing is the relationship between obverse die and reverse die and its given a number in the series, such as 1+a or 1+b or 2+a and so on, the number being the obverse die used and the letter being the reverse die used.
