Two farthings that I need priced...

Good policy. -
This medal has been holed...three times! Maybe it was sewn onto a garment, but whatever it was for it's a shame.

Oli i've been adding varities into some serieses. This book is technically supposed to be a definative general work. Leave them blank for now JMD and we'll work out those later. I could understand if they were common varieties, but seeing that JMD can't find them anywhere in Spink or on the Internet, I would think they're not. -

Coincraft lists them as the same value, but that's a rather large book. I would omit them in a catalogue this size. -
Happy Birthday Geoff

Congratulations, it's a shame it had to be overshadowed by other events. -
Have you guys seen the news?

They couldn't have timed it better. G8 is on, and the Olympic bid has just been successful. Even though it must have been months in the planning, the Olympics would have just been a bonus to them. My thoughts and sympathies go out to all those involved. -
Hopefully, Monsieur Chirac will slide in the opinion polls, be booted out of office at the next elections (thereby removing his presidential immunity), and be prosecuted for presiding over a system of illegal party financing whilst mayor of Paris. However, I digree. Congratulations to London!

3/4 of a century and still going strong. Congratulations!

I didn't think it was that bad if homework was addressed early. If one left it to the day before (as I did on occasion), it was far more stressful. Time management, I found, is the key. -
What do you think of this?
Emperor Oli replied to Half Penny Jon's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
It could be just bronze (or copper, whichever) and taken from an angle that appears to make it silver. -
Happy Birthday Chris

Told you it kicked ass Sounds like you had a good day! -
Just a generic form like "Man's greatest invention is...." Edit: Oh, and "Ecce" means "Look".

What do they shout (or whisper) if it's indeterminate? "Ecce - Homo!"
-
I'm sure everyone spoke Latin in 1989. In fact, I recall the midwife exclaiming "Ecce - Vir!"

Hmmmmmmm I'd be interested to know how this works. The tone screams fake but still I would like to know how they do it.

You're meant to read those green and red cards out verbatim so they can't really change it. I'll be glad when it's over though, I can't wait until the Sixth Form. -

You just had one? We have THREE. The first is on the Treaty of Versailles, the League of Nations and the Cold War, the second is on Germany and America 1918-1945, and the final one which I'll be doing tomorrow is on Vietnam and "The changing role and status of women in the 20th century". -

Good show! I like that £2, with the searchlights crossing both metals - I think it's very effective. My Dad received a Harvey Nichols voucher from me. -
Finished.

Wow he's got £0.55 with over a week to go. It encourages me to eBay all the Forth Bridge £1 coins I've accumulated.
