Sorry my post doesnt make sense, I thought you wanted four varieties just for 1957, not for the Calm sea variety in itself. -

1937 Farthing

I think Chris would know if it were a proof. If he sold it as normal ABU, it will most probably be ABU - it could have been one of mine that I sold to him! -

Honestly, what's it going to be - Queen Jacqueline?

The obverse looks very much like it has been melted. A few weeks ago I held some coins over the hobs over the cooker to see what happened to them, and a George Vi halfpenny turned the shade of red which you see on the obverse - could the reverse have been burned off?

Christmas & New Year.
Emperor Oli replied to tubandpud's topic in Nothing whatsoever to do with coins area!
Merry Christmas to all, it's been a wonderful year what with CC and the new members. I can only hope next year is as good, if not better! -
Is the obverse relief quite high? The legend looks out of focus compared to the effigy. Super coin by the way!

Welcome back

Firstly, the mintmark H is the Heaton mint, Birmingham Ltd. KN is the Kings Norton Metal Company, also in Birmingham. Value will depend on: 1) Denomination of coin 2) Date of coin 3) Condition of coin The coins will be pennies I imagine. If you can attach pictures of them we can assess the grade better, but you must first register. Using Photobucket to host will save the bandwidth of this forum. Edit: If you are already proficient at grading, the pictures won't be needed as we can quote a direct book value.

Cheers Chris, I take it business is brisk at this time of year?

Do you have any pictures up? I scoured your listings but couldn't find any mention of them.
