    Strange token?!

Probably one of the many things they issued over the years (Man is Space (?) springs to mind). You know the sort: Buy £10 of petrol, get a coin. Collect the whole set blah blah - a commercial gimmick

    Let see where this goes....

We should follow Singapore's example of stringent, zero-tolerance laws towards chewing-gum, but apply it to all rubbish.

    Most valuable coin you own.....

At current exchange rates (1 AUD = 0.405588 GBP), it's worth £344.75 (GBP)
  4. Why are you mocking me for using italics?
  5. I'm not really au fait with American coins but from what I've read a substantial amount of people despise them. And if it's worse than the Churchill well....
  6. Granted, though some Briton's is terrible.
  7. Oh no, I wholly agree! Some grammar and spelling on here is quite atrocious!
  8. Whoa don't go there Sylvester!

I saw the same thing on the News! I despise landfills - they are so ugly and smelly but I also hate the hassle of splitting up plastics, glass, metals, fabrics, wood, paper, blah blah blah. I suppose however that there is no other way for recycling to be done efficiently unless it is done at home.

    Pretty! ^^^
  11. It must be fantastic to find these things by metal detecting, even if they are in less-than-impressive condition. Well done!
  12. It looks quite stylised to be pi but then again I could be wrong. I thought it looked like an oriental letter of some sort - could it be some sort of club?
  13. Hahahahaha. Revolting. Truly revolting.
  14. One wonders if they [gl0hot] will ever return to see what's happened. Not many people do, they just post and forget but this guy has registered so there's a chance
  15. It is indeed, Chris. No specific date as such on it, only the year - 1911
  16. I'm asking the same question!
  17. We'd need descriptions or pictures to actually know what they are. However, if they're proof, they will fetch quite a good sum but if they are just in a folder, loose etc. they will be worth next to nothing

    Coin Manage 2003

Anything is better than that sack of crap, CoinManage

    The Green Party *stifles laugh*
  20. I guess you're referring to Baroness Thatcher but all the people i hear talking about her seem to hate her. Does anybody know why this is?

I hope the conservatives win the next election - Lord knows we've put up with enough rubbish from Labour. People say "The Conservatives are just upper-class toffs with no idea about modern issues", but they're wrong. The Conservatives promise tax cuts and to repeal all this red tape labour has stuck round us all. However, the hapless labour voters will no doubt vote labour again because they like blunkett's dog.

    Favourite reverse designs.

Una and the Lion and the Gothic series. I also lilke the Edward VII Florins
  23. If you want nice shiny coins to look at by all means clean them but if you want to sell/collect them you have not got a cat in hell's chance of them being valuable anymore unless they're really really rare
  24. Its obviously a medal of some kind - the silver jubilee? I think Geoff does medals so when he gets round to this you should get your answer!
