If you read FHM (which I do) they have a column every month with foreign food labels and signs etc. much like the toilet roll jigger

    Favourite monarchs

The French kings' portraits are super but for British monarchs I would probably go with James II and Charles II
  4. As far as I know they do the same for gold as for silver

He killed a few thousand here, a few thousand there but I remain resolute in my view that he posed no threat to the World. Also, many people disagree with when I say Stalin was worse than Hitler but they are fools.
  7. Yes sorry I thought you'd quoted from Spink's 2004 as well. But where does it say you are wrong???
  8. Britannia is a symbol of Britain, much like the American Eagle. It has evolved an looks pretty good on today's coins. Who else would they put on who symbolises so much?
  9. Spink's 2004 values the Cartwheel Twopence at £125 in VF

Who cares? The product was defective - for all they know you were just buying it for the walnut!

Complaining is great I once bought a packet of walnut whips from Marks and Spencer and one - shock horror - had no walnut on! So I sent a stern letter to their headquarters and got £15 in vouchers which my mum paid me for so when she did her shopping there she could use them and I got money!
  17. A fact about Soho in London, it was intended for the aristocracy to live in after the Great Fire of London. Then after they moved out it turned into the seedy place it is today. Quite a transition, don't you think?

Take/Send it right back! I got Spink's 2003 book and it started to fall apart hours after I'd bought it so I went back and they gave me a new one and some vouchers. It pays to complain!

He looks like Jerry Springer. That could have been a deciding factor.
