  1. From all I just read in this thread, I'd say your integrity is in good stead, and you are still held in high esteem! Great to hear you are fit and well!
  2. Whatever the causes I feel deeply saddened about the whole affair! I've had a long-time love affair with everything Greek, I hope their children don't suffer too badly? I love the spirit of the older generation too, so I also hope this doesn't scar them and leave them feeling bitter towards the remaining EU countries? I heard one woman saying they might be restricted to cash withdrawals less than they can buy their family food for, despite how much they have in the bank? Imagine that, chaps? 10k in the bank, but you can't draw on it to pay your rent? It'll boil down to the same old story! A few crooks at the top wrecking a beautiful country and series of unbelievable islands out of self greed! Whilst a little futile, I did feel extremely warmed by the chap who had already raised 1.4 million to help! I so hope the families of Greece get to hear about efforts like that!
  3. ...and the state of cider are just to kill time until someone puts up some more photos of coins for us to look at! ... though that might just be me... . We could become alcoholics with the wait, Stewie has already started going down that road
  4. Welcome aboard, Tim! Edit: 'back' aboard!
  5. Getting there! Orthopaedic surgeon says I'll just need extensive physio and I've ordered this so I can commute to work in style. Nice bike!
  6. It cracks me up to re-read it! Are you going to learn the shake, Paul?
  7. You recovering well, Clive?
  8. Do you mean an ACTUAL die, Rob, or something just bearing the legend?
  9. What weight? It doesn't look cast, and looks old, though? Would it be possible they may have used plate? Where did it come from? Are the legends right, Rob?
  10. Oh, dear! Was is that obvious? You know it was bad when you have to check all your social media apps, your emails and texts in the morning!
  11. Bright as a berry this morning!
  12. 'Thoughts of receiving hostility, surprised a smile, he was hospitable! 'Complicated, with many degrees, Luddite with little compromise!' The good ole days!
  13. Actually wrote a song once with, 'Luddite with no compromise'! Still trying!
  14. As random as this was....no conversation? Why are so many posts passing through without interest, or at least a pooh pooh comment at least?

I really feel there's a lack of discussion that was present a couple of years ago? Is it just seasonal?
  16. Yeah, the iFault is reigning me in quite nicely to an incongruous finale! I'm thinking pigeons? I couldn't begin! Anyway, on a simpler west-country-boy communication...ginger? WTF don't get it...a bit of a shame! I'll make my point (though they were rightfully proud of their pressed-Apple drink [probably wine, truth be hic told]), and I'll get no more FREE tasters, of course! Oh well! But I might help pick up the Happles next yer!
  17. It will take a while but, one day, you'll be privy to the hammered shake! It's for the privileged shakey few...but it's a twisty-thumb, shake-your-bum, nod-your-head, twiddle-your-feet, club thing (but don't tell anyone!) ovtherwise I'd be out TG set it up about 2 years ago, with Rob as president, and Chris watching on behalf of the USSR government! I sold up once I knew that!
  18. So pretty, but where's Bob Dylan when I need him?
  19. Mohammed would be appalled, and Buddha would never have got fat! Cider has changed! Oh, 'wo is me' how much poorer are the generations for the alcopop culture of Perry? ?
  20. Drinking home-made cider and feeling disappointed on two fronts! Too much ginger, first of all! Ginger ffs, who puts ginger in cider? JHC, by God?
