Hey Garoyn, welcome to the madhouse, the coin forum for the numismatically insane!
-
Put me down for a Class 10cf5 penny!
-
Peter, just read your post! What a shocker of a toned list that is, TG! Satisfying to see by the bidding that they aren't appreciated by anyone else either. Pete, I think it was something to do with 'something' and heat (oven possibly)? I can't remember now, though have read about it in the past. Never stuck in my mind as useful for anything, surprisingly!

It'll be a penny, then!

Thank goodness you asked, Charlie, that's an appalling example. I'm amazed you could live with the rims on that, it's my greatest issue. I personally really struggle with even the lightest nicks on edges.

Advice about this 1902 Proof Crown...

Agree with the above! Incidentally, I noticed you signal as 'searching' in your screen shot! You're not with EE by any chance are you? We've had three weeks of atrocious service from them! -
Here's crown 15... ...but I think that's about it without a bit more info., palves!
-
Maybe a halfpenny, it's got a HyB obverse? Could do with a weight and/or size, really? When I first saw it my initial thoughts were class 15 crown, because of the two left-leaning ornaments? It's just missing that second R in the legend though? I think size and weight are needed, to be honest!

Now this should send a shiver up the spine this morning! The same old bells that sent their glorious sound out across the land for the actual event! Notwithstanding the fact that many of our tower bells are the same old bells that rang out in Stuart, and even Tudor times! Wonderful! Stick your head out the door at 11 chaps and chapesses! http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-32670639

A shame, as it was the most powerful post war documentary I've watched!

Give him back, Mark! -
That seals it then, Jag! They seem reasonably up front on the proxy system!Congrats on the wins!

Chances are coinery if you get it ,will be at your top bid and not less.Yes, it's not very often I get a nice surprise with proxy bids! Well, I've just won a nice little lot of 5 UNC or near so late victoria sixpences at £180, whereas I was willing to go to £220, so I'm £40 to the good on my max bid.Well done, Dave, and that's reassuring to hear!I fell short by £35 so not my day! But there are plenty others!

I thought you were trying to drag Peckris out of retirement? -
Starting to look statistically unethical!
-
Thanks, gents! Reassuringly unreassuring!
-
Rob and Clive might be interested? Probably better than eBay after a bum set of bids and 15% off of everything, including post?
-
How soon do they put the hammer prices up?

It's a shame they don't even provide a sound-link so you can listen live!
