Penny Collectors Who Are You All
Danz replied to pies's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
I have a nice run of pennies on the go. Probably my main interest followed by Shillings , Florins and then the rest. -
Very different ship to mine. Interesting.

The longest an item has taken was a month. I usually contact seller after 1-2 weeks and let them know I will wait for a month after sale date to see if it turns up. Then take it from there. Dan.

Sorry that should have been "Couldn't"

I like errors on UK decimal. Just got a 50p blank (both sides) with letter from the Royal Mint confirming it to be genuine. . But without pics could advise on the 10p/5p.

Hi Shamo. I to have had this problem more than once. It really pisses me off you think you've got a bargain and nothing turns up. No proof of postage and very quick to refund. I came to my own conclusion that the seller didn't get the selling price he/she was after. BANKERS the lot of them.

Nice one. Cheers Chris. :D :D :D

I did Chris. I spoke to on the phone about the one I had bought. You were unaware of this type and checked your set and luckily had this type.

Do I get any commission for bringing it to your attention. Maybe a signed copy of the new CYC.

Hi all. I have just bought a 1856 Shilling slabbed by CGS. It is graded AU 75. I don't want to keep it in the slab as it won't fit in my display case. Do have to break the slab with brute force or is there a way of getting it out without breaking the slab?. Cheers all. Dan
