  1. I missed out by £10 on one lot ,£100 on another and big time on the third. Better luck next time I hope .
  2. Everyone should know how much they bid, so everyone should know if they won or not unless it is at their maximum Can't see any final prices on the site .
  3. There is still hope then . Cheers guys for letting me know as only signed up with DNW a couple of days ago and don't know how they work.
  4. I checked my account with DNW online. They were pretty quick to put up the invoice. Nothing then . Cheers for letting me know.
  5. I had 3 lots with bids on but have not heard anything . When do they let you know? Any pics of you won lots .
  6. Hi all. I have been going through some pennies I won at auction at the weekend and came across this. It is a 1862 penny with a date smaller than the other 20 or so I have. The 2 looks closer to the 6 than the other ones. Is it a known variety? My eyes are bleeding now. Cheers Dan.
  7. Hi. I have plenty of higher grades that I would like to check.
  8. Hi. Thanks. What would be the best ref book I can get to check for all the variations and where to get it from. Cheers Dan.
  9. 390 quid doesn't Sound to bad £320. . I'm pleased with it and I have a shed load of other coins from this lot to sort through. I enjoy looking at coins I don't collect. Some will be sold on and some kept.
  10. Hi all. In a local auction at the end of the month is a job lot of coins. This lot has a 1928 crown in it. I know these are faked but how do I tell if it is the real thing or not. Thanks Danny

  14. Hi all. Well I managed to win the lot with the 1928 crown. It was listed "An assortment of coinage and stamps including a coin album with a 1928 crown." It is 28.29g. what are your thoughts on it. Cheers Danny.

Very nice. I will have to watch out for one of those.
  16. Hi. Thanks for getting back to me. I will get a better look a couple of days before the auction. The auction room might not list it so won't be binding that it's genuine. I thought that Wreath crowns were faked or is it only some dates?
  17. Never completed .It has got two glass doors so it keeps the kids out but not a tea leaf .
  18. Can't get pic to upload. AT last.
  19. Hi all. Found this penny in a lot of about 100 i got from a guy from work. I have other examples of the 76H in worse condition and you can still see the H or whats left of it. Could this be the missing H type?. Cheers all. Dan
  20. Hi all. Thanks for getting back to me. Your the experts. I have only been on the pennies for a couple of years. I saw in the CCGB that a 1876 no H was sold by Bamford in 2006. I have seen a few 1876 H pennies in a worn state , worse than this one. Which is pretty bad way. They all show signs of a H but i could not see a mark where the H should be. The 7 is badly worn but why would this area and the H have worn away more than the surrounding numbers? Thanks again for your replies.
