How do they get away with it. Because people (like yourself) buy what's on offer. If nobody bought, the problem might just go away or at least reduce in volume. If 75% out of a bag of 100 pieces of crap sells for even £3-4 each, the chances are that represents a profit of a couple hundred quid. As a seller, that's a no brainer. Ouch . I have been getting better and will only go for items with a good pic. I have also left neg FB if that badly over graded and the pic didn't highlight a prob.

With what fakers can and do produce these days it's time we start to talk about it more. we need to get to know what they are and have faked. We could with regular members swap any fake coins we have so pepole get to know the look/feel and then pass it on with permission of the owner. There could be a data base so the coin swap will keep track of coins being swapped around so it can be returned to the owner if requested.

Hi. I love coins with errors. Die cracks,blobs,double strikes etc i don't care if it isn't how it should be then i like some others will collect it. I would pay more fore an example with an error so yes to your question it is worth more than 50p.

Is it our friend with the shop in West London? I got a full set of them from him in order to do pictures for Check Your Change, before the error was known about.
