    Withdrawn 2011 Aquatics 50p

Well I've so far managed to get all but 5 of the olympic designs with the aid of a local cafe who's staff I've tapped up(not in that way!) I have the Aquatics coin but its the usual type I'm afraid I have been getting £10 of 50p's from my bank most weeks and have found Olympic ones hard to come by The girl guide ones aren't that rare are they? I thought several million were out there as opposed to the 1 million WWF Lastly, the cafe staff provided me with two Kew Gardens ones recently which really was worthwhile! Cheers:0)

    London Olympics 50ps

Back to the 50p's, I noticed that the Mints issued figures for these 50p's varied between 600000 & 1 million so far for each of the 29 issues. I had read that the eventual numbers would be 3 million in each case. No idea if that's true but that would make them uncommon but not especially scarce. I have acquired a few from change but many are duplicates. I certainly won't be buying any presentation packs! I'm also curious to know how many of the WWF 2011 will eventually be issued. 1 million had been released by the end of last year

2011 mintage for 50 pence issues

Everything is on the RM site http://www.royalmint.com/Corporate/MintageFigures/circulating_coins.aspx That's brilliant Thanks very much :0) Dave
  4. Good evening I have a couple of questions about the special 50 pence issues for 2011 1) I am confused about what the eventual mintage totals will be for the Olympic issues. I read an article somewhere that each of the issues would have a mintage level of 3 million. However, I have also seen figures quoted (Coincraft)that indicate varying and much lower figures for the mintage of each of these coins. 2) I have been unable to find the mintage level for the World Wildlife Fund issue If anyone can clarify I would be grateful Dave
