    Coinstar find

Reject box rejects all non current coin - say you put a usa dime in it it would pass straight through and go into the reject box as it is not legal curency in the uK same with a pre decimal penny. It is not given to charity but passes through the machine so you have the option of taking it home - if you don't and choose to leave it there then you cannot moan as you at least COULD have taken it back

    Russians

There were little clues over the last ten years or so that something like this would happen. - russian help in syria -the novichok sailsbury affair -and above all the mighty war chest they were building up and Putin making himself life president , dictator in effect. The real tragic thing is we don't seem to learn from history and are forced to repeat it over and over again. Boris another churchill ? Not sure about that , he does love a drink and a party though.......

    Russians

While all wars would be better never started the fact is that when a war comes along jokes will be made , my grandfather was a political cartoonist with a national newspaper , he in effect earned part of his wages from drawing caricatures of Hitler ,Stalin ,etc. He was gassed with mustard gas in the first world war by the way.(And I am very afraid that Putin has something a lot worse that that in store as he showed in Syria.) God help us . While you might not think anything or think a joke is in poor taste its a quite a british thing to mock an enemy look at the jokes about Hitler we still find funny like that episode of faulty towers(so loved by the germans as well, funny enough.) To laugh at something that scares us makes us somehow feel better

Unbelievable news that the double-headed eagle has been parading today through the streets of Chernobyl. One Russian regiment actually found one there and has made it it's mascot.

    Russians

It has to be serious when this happens The Comparethemarket price comparison site has pulled ads featuring the animated rich Russian meerkat Aleksandr Orlov from news bulletins and content about the Ukraine war. The firm said it had reviewed its media strategy due to the sensitivities around the Russian invasion. Orlov, and sidekick Sergei, feature in one of the advertising industry's most recognised campaigns. The firm stressed in a statement: "The meerkats are fictional characters." Comparethemarket continued: "They have no association with Russia and the current situation. We are continually reviewing our advertising to ensure we're being sensitive to the current situation."

1990 Gold Crown - Queen Mother Birthday

I had one that looked similar I broke it out of it's plastic package and it still has a little goldish glow after all these years really quite attractive , it's certainly better than an ord cn coin the coin resides among my decimal qe2 coins, I never collected all decimal crowns just the ones I thought were important.
