I must admit I would never want anyone to buy coins as a present for me at xmas , I am just so fussy . Surplies and equipment are more like what I really want.

20 pence Bailiwick of Jersey 2014

All the 20p coins if exported via ebay at £50 a pop would fetch £300,000,000 and please ebay with its final value fees and also leave the residents of jersey with full bank accounts (an average of £3000 a piece for every person on the island )

    1841 Queen Victoria halfpennies.

Yep it will be a "sleeper" in mint state for years thanks to this hoard I saw one on a stall in a collectors fair recently and all i saw was £50 , I enquired and was told the price was £250 , I just walked away
  18. I really hope you dont dig up that jar of pubes hidden by mr christie .
  19. Didn't many saxon towns and villages grow up on roman ruins , I am sure this is correct statement - they also reused roman buidings when useful that is why roman london is not available as its under buildings in london . The hole could have been made at any time up to 200 years ago The brits have always had jewelry- I must admit the hole looks crudely done
  20. How the hell can you tell if or when a hole was put in the coin , I have to be honest and say it could be one of only 1600 years and you could narrow it down to that ,anything else is pure guesswork. Its true that this coin was handled by whoever yes , can you name them?I doubt it .
