I dont find this artical much use " Full of nine miillion pounds worth of gold * is that as collectors items valued at this amount , bullion value or worth nine million to a museum , or some other amount they have picked out of the air?

What an achievement those seventeenth century tokens can be really hard to track down esp halfpennies Quite a few tokens exist that are unique and many many have less that 30 examples existing .

George V threepences from 1911- 1920 are quite common in good grade they are also very cheap - you can often find them for around £5 each -

Could have been someome the police did not want to be prosecuteed or even a policeman , if I remmeber rightly there was a big fuss about a policeman who locked two german sheepherds in the back of his van and killed them that year .

MAD DOGS AND ENGLISHMEN GO OUT IN THE MIDDAY SUN Dogs have no sweat glands so they cannot stand a quick temperature rise they tend to die and its probably pretty horible for the animal it must feel like being roasted. I am really surprised the police never got back to you in the case of the dog in the car it was in extreem danger, but full marks on doing the right thing , it was the stupidity of the dog owner that broke that window not you .

Ok yes I admit I did overgade the obverse a bit . Here is the reverse - as usual its in better grade than the obverse . I am pretty happy to grade GVF/NEF -
I have seen a few dogs recently refuse to move and just flop down on the floor and give up , their owners have to pull them by the lead to get them up , its funny to watch but dogs dont take well to heat at all , you tend to start feeling really sorry for them

I would go 70/30 on it being genuine - there again I am no expert -
both coins are ok for the price
