Le Franc IX (2012) gives:- F.140/1 1941 Cmes NOT underlined F.140/2 1941 Cmes underlined F.140/3 .1941. Cmes underlined F.140/4 .1941. Cmes NOT underlined (two examples known) No variation in edge reeding noted for the 4 types, but an irregular minting with weights varying between 2.35g to 2.86g, total mintage was 235,875,200 so scope for lots of variations given wartime conditions methinks Warning also to beware filled dies and weak strikes, so diffcult to know given the awful condition most of these zinc coins are normally found in ah I see thankyou, maybe im confused as to what "Tranche : cannelures fines" actually means. for example; the last line in the coin specifications in the link below states; Tranche : cannelures fines http://www.cgb.fr/10-centimes-lindauer-en-zinc-cmes-souligne-et-millesime-avec-points-1941-f-140-3,fmd_078603,a.html And this coin is listed with "Tranche : cannelures moyenne" http://www.cgb.fr/10-centimes-lindauer-en-zinc-cmes-souligne-et-millesime-avec-points-1941-f-140-3,fmd_078604,a.html Both coins have the underlining and the points and are made from Zinc. I knew existed the 1941 VINGHT centimes with the larger reeded edge. Then noticed this. Il get those comparisson images uploaded. the second link should be this; http://www.cgb.fr/10-centimes-lindauer-en-zinc-cmes-souligne-et-millesime-avec-points-1941-f-140-3,fmd_174993,a.html

http://www.lefranc.net/monnaie,10-centimes-lindauer-zinc,140.html I tell thee for why, a variety of the 1941 VINGHT centimes in Zinc exist with large spacing in the reeding. see listing "F.153/3" http://www.lefranc.net/monnaie,20-centimes-tat-fran-ais,153.html today I found .1941. 10 Centimes in Zinc with big gaps in the reeding unlike all the other examples I have. I cant find any information on this type other than a variety with "average" spacing..!! What ever that means..! Is it possible "F.140/4" is the 10 centimes with large reeding?? any info would be great. thanks. I'll get together some comparisson images of all the varietys of Zinc 1941 10 centimes I have then my point will be clear.

  20. Rape, steal and pillage, Hospitals, schools and prisons! which country springs to mind??
  21. Hi, I have been very busy eating too much cheese and drinking nice wine.. Hence I have not shown my face for a while. A question please. 17 Euros is a fair price? thanks
  22. Rape, steal and pillage, Hospitals, schools and prisons!
  23. Im sorry to hear that Peter! The way you describe it. Must of been horrible....
  24. Yes - I think so, for a BU 1928 penny. You haven't paid 'over the odds'. Excuse ME! Don't judge our wine by the appalling (and now legendary) 1970s popularity of 'Hirondel', and our lapping up of the notorious Blue Nun. There are now some extremely good - though small scale - British vineyards : Astley in Worcestershire (or is it Gloucestershire??) is one, and they have won international awards. Apparently our climate is suited to one particular grape. I used to know what it was, but I've forgotten already - which shows you how much of a wine buff I am! (Oh wait - something is stirring ... is there a Madeleine Anjou grape? Or something similar?) I have worked in a small vineyard in the UK and the Yarra valley in Aus, very interesting. In my original statement was referring to wines for sale on the high streets, and the significant difference in price and quality. I suppose one thing is clear; there will always be an abundance of cheap and good quality wine and chesse here and not there.
  25. clearly the same coin. And no!! even with the current highs in the copper market; http://www.plus500.com/Instruments/HG?gclid=CIS8wJiym7YCFVDMtAod2hYAtA I think its a keeper.
