Cheers Charles I Richmond farthing tokens - Should read CARO DG MAG BRI(T) and on the Reverse FRA ET HIB REX Many varieties with different privy marks that are located above the crown on the Obverse...and a lot of contemporary counterfeits
  2. http://tinypic.com/r/s623iw/5 Hi all. Just wanted to see if anyone can identify these medieval-looking coins that I was recently given. They look hammered - so that is why I guess medieval. All 4 of these coins are the same design. One side features a crown with writing surrounding it and the other side features a crown above a ?harp?, with writing surrounding that. I can't make out much more than that - they're pretty poor quality. Hope someone can help me out - thanks very much!
