GB 1936 Penny - Unusual 'dots' at Date

See the 3 and 9 look to me like they have been done post striking, but the 1 and the 6 look like they have been done before, just based on the fact that the 3 and ( have parts of the little circle in the number, but I could just be shadows on the coin. -
Does anyone have the latest value for a BU 1929 penny? My latest one is £40 but this is a bit out now.

Does anyone know anything about any coinage for the BAT? I know that a few BOT have their own coinage. but I haven't heard anything about BAT. There was a coin minted i believe in 2008 but not sure if this was a commemorative or actual coinage -

Yeh, they are phone pictures so not the best quality and don't compare to it in hand it was sold as BU but I would give it a UNC because its hasn't got as much lustre as a BU But I think I am just being picky, I can't fault it personaly Paid £10

Replaces my rather poor 1929 of course

Well here is my purchase, I don't know if there are any varieties in the 1929 if someone with better knowledge of this could enlighten me. What you you guys grade this and have a guess at what I paid.

See I do keep an eye out at the hammered stuff, but I have little to no idea about any of it. I can apreciate their beauty but when it comes to buying them, well.. Is there a book you would recommend that can introduce me into the topic?
-
They look quite bulky, but seem quite secure. Not sure if I like them or not

The flips are standard, and fit into boxes OR wallets. The holes in the flips handle very small, right up to crown! I have the little packet things that you can get of Chris here, and a few really old tins that my great grandparents had when they were kids to put the packets in. That and two trays that I got given by someone who gave up the hobby couldn't get rid of them.

Spink 2014 gives an UNC value of £65. Ah it wasn't far off then. Thanks Take Spink prices for modern with a large pinch of salt - they wouldn't sell one for that price. CCGB is more accurate from a 'real world' perspective. I was just looking for a price guide as I have seen one with quite a bit of eye appeal and wanted to check the prices

My dad was in the air force, so I have seen quite a few different air shows, but the best one by far is the one at RAF Cosford if you are anywhere near its definitely worth a trip
