Hi guys the forum seems a bit sleepy tonight so I thought I'd take the time to introduce myself, as I plan on annoying you all with my outrageously stupid questions for the foreseen time, as I have caught the bug. My names Conor, 17, and basically a man who was like my grandad passed away, the silver lining of this story is that I've inherited his coin collection. I basically have all sorts from half farthings to half crowns. Currently trying to bring some order to the collection and hopefully I will be able to share it with you guys when I'm done. So what I'm basically doing is welcoming myself aboard hope everyone is feelin patriotic after that fantastic game!

P.s anyone got a coin cabinet I could buy or point me in the right direction
-
It was only a World Cup qualifier... haha, I'm going to be compiling my half crowns first, could I throw a few pics on here of the better pieces and some of you could give them an average grade ? And we all know liverpool will be finishing in top 2 this season... I am my deluded.....
-
What sort of grade would you attach at a rough glance?
-
What do you think nearly fine?
-
Seeing as my collection is inherited, I'm not completely sure what I've got at the moment, so can someone take a stab at what freeman number mine is ?? Pwease...

Hi guys, i'm just going to post a video on photobucket to prove this, i'm not sure whether this is significant or not, however i've found an 1884 half crown that i believe has its reverse upside down. Open to debate as i honestly haven't got a clue, were they made this way? http://s1274.photobucket.com/user/CVarnz/media/Video3_zps94e1e137.mp4.html

Peckris you might be looking at today's one show, whereas this was created before today's one show. Therefore we can maybe assume that it was yesterday's one show, not sure if you thought of this, just trying to help
