  1. Both are more likely a die crack. Here are more picture. How about at the bottom of the second M of IMP is this a point likea point in every bottom colon on every word. Any additional info or just a normal die crack rounded in circulation.
  2. Thank you Hussulo for the info. Others using die crack for Repunched Date and Repunched Mintmark and the number 200,000 that is for me important. Its somewhat a gauge where you can find a variety and a master die.
  3. Thanks Hussulo. How about the line from the 2nd leg of M of IMP it connect to the head of P of IMP and it is not raised as I can see it the M and P is over it, maybe a struck through or something.
  4. Thats a good find. I think I got the picture now half left of 5 was struck by 3. Is there any excess metal underneath the 1 and 3 if it is Repunced Date all number should have it or just one number? How Repunced date happened in GB coin thus it have seperate die for date or the whole die is one including the other inscription?
  5. Thanks for the info, Is good to know that.
  6. Just heardon radio on RTE that their is a directive between the govt. of Ireland and the National Road Authority under the town council that construction or developement of road should be employed an archeologist to scan the landusing method like geographical survey or other method for the preservation of site if they found one or new find. Is this kind of thing also practice in GB? Is private and public contractor also have a guide on what they will going to do when they found a site, well some project amount alot of money a delay by archeological excavation is a lost to them and the other thing is if the site is important they have to find a new one. Project contractor as I saw on TV on one of your documentary in BBC that local contractor have a knowleged of find on the area and sometimes ask by other expert for info on what find they encounter on several sites to compare and study thier recent finds is this the case that other that are working in this kind of job was no guide especially on contruction industries on what they are going to do when they find a site or they just keep thier eye blind if that is the case at least they should record or plot thier find and go on with the project. Their are cases that expert are given time to excavate a site for future consruction of a building that is a good thing but sometimes they all dont finnish their dig on time,on emplyoying a archeologist expert on a goverment or developer is a big help but for me it is much better that other in this line of work are being given a crash courses from that start and expand later for thier are some documentary that expert on the 50s or 60s employ consruction worker not all student or expert when they are digging a site for me it is much better if most on the construction thing have a course, just a man power of them it may help some thing even on small info they will input. Saw some construction worker here have a metal detector maybe looking for a pipe or electrical cable because they are using a backhoe maybe for safety or because it is a directive. Any additional info.
  7. Any additonal info. D o IND bottom, line going to the shield and line between M and P of IMP
  8. Thanks Rob. Quite confusing between die crack and lamination.
  9. Nice coin melody
  10. Well the tail of small seven is somewhat not aligned to the near end long seven. About looking on Repunched Date and reference it is quite hard for me.
  11. Is there any chance to have long 7 over long 7 or small 7 over small 7 or long 7 over small for thier are 2 die used.
  12. Is that the same thing if the I on regina point directly to the second A of gratia follows. Earlier coin in the series point between bead but the 1964 also but the variety is on 1965. Any info on where the boundaries of earlier coins end and the I of regina or 2 A of gracia start point to bead dont have the complete series?
  13. thanks for the info didnt know that.
  14. Me none 2 more grade for ms 65.
  15. Thanks for the info mint. Sometimes error is used to find any variations in coin to attached a die,for me there should be two things on coin to guide well other practice it especially on DOUBLE DIE well I dont know the process of GB in making coins well it will be fun to have a guide like that if it exist along with die varieties.
  16. I dont know is this one of lindner coin flip that stick and dont use a staple, Maybe on Predecimal accessories.
  17. They are mostly GB about any variety on them and the coins you have I dont know for now. Thanks fot the picture.
  18. Thanks wasp for the info. Any link or article about it? How far on date did they melted? Is this will effect the total existing number of soveriegn?
  19. It's all very exciting you know! Even when I think back to my first CCGB which was the 2005 issue, it's come a long way in such a short time and I keep getting new ideas to make it a little better each time. Yeah very exciting especially those are base in GB,way back in other site they are asking question on when UK books will be published, especially the new find they are somewhat waiting for it,well somebooks are published in the opening of 2007. Yeah your 2005 your short of copy well thier is rotographic maybe in the future if Im good in computer and storing file. Forgey books is good especially to those who buy gold in expensive and high quality piece it is better to have a guide than sorry.especially other members mentioned something happen to that gold.
  20. Well one thing to know it is by poll from this forum and from your associate. US have diff. books I guess its time for GB to have books on diff. denomination like other specialized book from copper up,well CCGB 2007 is the first book posted in world books in coinlink, CCGB is not enough to cover the GB coin in one issue that is only my opinion,Maybe CCGB with volume issue per year for modern, victorian, milled or celtic.but the result the failure and success of selling the volume is risky depends on how many will buy,I quoted this on one of my post. Their is also a photograding books also saw in coinlink. For me I have still lot of things to learn but expert who have a personal notes and other find not know and recorded that is still something else if it exist
  21. Welcome back kuhli. 84 pages thats good. Wonder who will be a modern freeman or peck and others or other author after this book is published for sometime.
  22. Thanks for the info.
