    2008 £1 Coin

Yes, it weighs exactly the same as one with an inscribed edge. I even tried scratching it a little, but it seems the same metal

    2008 £1 Coin

I have a 2008 £1 shield coin, same metal and weight as standard, but it has a helix edge and is milled also, not an inscription as usual. I work with money so I'm pretty sure it's not a fake. Any info would be great. I do have photos but don't know how to upload them using my phone
