Ahem... You want to go to League Tables > British Milled > Select Penny and sumbit, then look for and click on TC Coins and it will load his list below the league table.

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Yes he certainly knows his pennies and will definitely know that it's not a high tide. He's relying on the slab description here, which is coincidentally in focus in the photos..

I was reading the stats in the email, so England are joint top in the predictions to win it!? Those who chose them to win are going to be gutted when they get kicked out of the last 16

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Haha almost as bad as the enameled '1933' and the excellent description that it comes with
  11. Some great buys Jerry, there's currently an 1894 that's not as good as that up on the bay and has already surpassed £50 so good spot.
  12. Indeed very expensive, I've wanted a couple of their coins before but would never pay the prices they're asking for. I wonder what makes up the bulk of their sales if the higher end pieces cost so much, they've obviously got the capital to have so much in stock...

Can you post a picture of the other side?
  14. Worth a shot That second one is handmade
  15. Hi and welcome. The value is about 50p or around that. It's called a retained rim cud, which happens when part of the die breaks off during striking.

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Think they're just a little too worn to pique anyone's interest.

Ruined a 2000 BU coin set

Agreed! Collecting 50ps is what lead me to where I am today and I'm still collecting them as they come out!
  20. The only thing I know is wash is less than 3 microns and plating is somewhere between that and about 35 microns.

    Cataloging a collection

I recommend signing up to codecademy.com, it's where I first started out with html5, css, jquery etc. Excellent tool and you will learn a lot even from the free stuff. Depending where you store the info, you might need a little MySQL experience too
  22. This thread reminds me actually I picked up a nice filled 2 on a 1920, I'll grab some pictures when I can. The filled part is actually higher than the digit.
  23. No I suppose not, although they stopped me from winning it so they got what they deserved löl
  24. I thought VS won both of the '05s? -
