Advice required for 'found coins'

I would agree with Peter that as they are very low grade, your best bet would be selling as a bulk lot of scrap silver. I hope you'll buy a nice coin with the proceedings! -

It might just be because I'm on my phone but no photos are showing? -

Welcome to the forum PB. It's going to depend a lot on the grades of the coins you've found, if you can upload pictures it would be much easier to give you an idea of what you have.. Just shout if you need help adding photos. -
Welcome Guy, like Paul we've spoken recently, I imagine both through seeing your email on the CGS site. I was going to contact you regarding the lists you've sent me but after talking to Pete I think he has already bought all of the coins I wanted There are a plethora of penny collectors on here so always lots of discussion.
-
Agreed, much scarcer. I have a spare which was dirt cheap and a BIN, I had to buy it just for the price.
-
You could be waiting months if not a year or more for one just to turn up, let alone buy one for £100!
-
I mean like 'what a deal'. I was telling everyone else that it's a deal 1863 is a long way off for me, I'll get one when I get closer to the date I can wait at the moment

NGC are an American slabbing company and this variety is not as mainstream as some others, that might be why.
-
Great job with that one Mike and good spotting too
-
My message must not have posted I did post saying "is that on a halfpenny?" because the legend is so close together. Did he say it was on a penny then?
-
He doesn't do pictures though, but always has a stall at the Midland if you need to view something. Great guy.

Yes just go to someone's profile you'll find a message icon to send a PM

Hi Ian, It's a 2 + B, I look to the colon dots after IMP and also the position of the P in IMP to check this year. Here's a picture for an example. Hope it helps.
-
Both working perfectly. I have the variety website as a favourite on my work computer and both ipad and iphone anyway extremely useful!
-
The link's bad now I don't think it had the word penny in the URL normally?
-
By the way the link in your signature has disappeared Richard..
-
Aren't all of these missing wave varieties filled dies?
-
Interestingly, I've just noticed on the 2 varieties I know of, that both have filled 2's in the date.
-
Also I didn't actually spot it, credit goes elsewhere. I just thought I would share with the rest of you.
-
Yes, yes we do.
-
Missing waves - similar to the 1934, but on a 1921. Not just wear from circulation, hence the comparison photo of an equally, if not more worn example.

Will probably have to wait for an auction for a nice 2+A. A very difficult pairing.
