  1. Ah I see! No problem at all, your English is definitely better than my fluency in your mother tongue! I do still think this is just a worn die/a weak strike as opposed to a forgery though!
  2. No offence meant Rob, just joshing around.
  3. What makes you say it's a forgery Patrick? It should weigh 9.4g with a diameter of 31mm, so giving a bit of leeway for inconsistencies and the wear, I'd say that's about right..
  4. Love it Who me officer? No, I don't smoke drugs apart from this joint in my hand and the one I had yesterday and the day before
  5. I did say post Vic Apart from EII Sorry I was just being lazy
  6. Worn die? All post Victorian pennies are toothed, none are beaded..
  7. Have you a larger picture Damian? It's really hard to read!
  8. You have to factor in the artist's time on this one Matt Haha amazing, that's almost exactly how I pictured this one being made
  9. £49.99!?! WTF! Link
  10. Hahaha Hahaha Sounds like a 5p blank got mixed up with the 10ps and was struck as such. You're probably looking at £5-10. That sound a bit optimistic. Ebay seems to get very under excited about errors. Can you be optimistic with a price of £5? While I agree that I personally wouldn't pay £5-10 for this type of error, you'd still struggle to find a similar example for less..

  12. Not even subtle anymore Peter!
  13. It's possible! Hard to tell from the photos..
  14. There appears to be a circular, brown stain on that tablecloth towards the centre! For sale: 'White tablecloth with 1896 penny shaped stain on (stain is UNC)"
  15. LOL @ Peck... This is only too true What about this one... Better picture? 1896 Penny
  16. What the hell is that haha, and what does "TO DARK FOR PICTURES NOW" mean?
  17. Lovely coin, the background is such a nice tone it almost looks proof in places..
  18. Very hard to tell. Gouby's book states 2 known and one was sold in March through London coins. So unless you bought it in that auction the chances are very very slim..
  19. Haha to each their own as they say! I'd be interested if he's still got that car sitting on his drive or not..
  20. That's actually a half-decent picture of a Ford Focus! "Did I mention this car has a leather steering wheel? Probably not suitable for vegetarians - not sure?" This guy is certified as insane
  21. The first I ever saw was this (sorry about the length) : Ford Focus 1.8 Zetec Ghia Mint Green (Possibly works underwater but this is unconfirmed) (decided not to quote the whole thing) Hahaha that's classic I particularly like the above part, and also the "don't be disappointed if it's a 50p it sounded like a pound" I think this part is my favourite though: "If you don’t want to drive it you can just sit in the driver’s seat and I can make engines noises but there will be an additional fee for this." hahaha
  22. ..and the bike itself..
  23. Here it is, the original post was 6 years a go which is pretty good memory for me! This was an eBay auction..
  24. He's just jumping on the proverbial band wagon! It's a classic technique that's seen things from shoes to motorbikes being sold for £££££ over their actual amount. That was why i didn't post that part haha. I'll try and find the original(?) that kicked this sort of thing off..
  25. The first line in the description reads: "I'm broke, anybody with loads of money want to buy this dirty penny for way more than it's worth?"
