I didnt over estimate anything just said cgs price...did not say what i paid. Yours was a good buy and i can sell mine today for more than i payed for it .
-
Dont worry i have bought it and happy whenever i buy a coin i can find out what i should pay
-
Research on line and asking dealers what they would pay. General feedback is for a really good one a grand plus . CGS say £1500 for the one i bought
-
Anyone want a low grade for £100 in a cgs slab PM me . They say £180 but now i have a good one not any use to me so a bargain. The BU ones seem to be a grand plus.

And the BOBO Buy the paper envelopes if the coins have not got any value and your just storing them seperately .

The esimates are low on the pennies. Going back towards another topic.....be carefull on the pictures and attributions. A mate of mine viewed them and i have since crossed some off my list although was only really bothered about one. All goes back to if you want to buy at auction without viewing....then take your chance. -
Its in a cgs slab graded 80 and scarce in high grade although the picture is RANG I have been looking for a good one for ages so happy with this
-
A few upgades purchased yesterday 1897 that is a lot better than the normal ones Not the best picture as just done on my phone.
-
i asked a few people last week when i was getting them Asked a mate,my mum and my lad to go to the forum from there own computer they got the adds and didnt log on just as soon as they looked at the forum. I was with a guy yesterday who just reads it and says he gets the adds aswell now.
-
But loads of people are getting them. Not just people who post they come up even if you are not logged in.
-
It will if you go to the left/right of the submit or any other button. Good luck
-
If you scroll above the add or below alternatively the submit or any other button part of it outside the add is a lighter colour if you put your coursor over it. Then it will work as normal. Alternatively smash the computer up and start again as i nearly did
-
If you imagine the ads are still there Dave and scroll above or below or alternatively what you can see will still let you post. With adblock i still have to work around the adds......if that makes sense
-
From the pictures the one on the left is better but if they were the right money just keep them both and dont buy another one.
-
Was why i posted Dave and yes was a nuisance
-
Yes your right Scott but over the course of a week or so more likely someone else will spot it and thats all it needs for the price to be high. RANG is just a daft word Mike for BOBO
-
Maybe lots of people disagee but not a problem. Always happy to help a collector
-
The prices you paid were after a listing of a week or ten days Mike ,gives other people the chance to have a look. The only way to buy something at the right price is to put in notifications / searches as BIN and have a look at wrongly attributed and buy them straight away. Otherwise people like me would of bought them two years ago . I have stopped looking for pennies now as have most ....but the only way IMO. If you spot something with ten days left......chances are i have aswell If your not bothered not a problem i found out myself the hard way. Ebay sells a load of RANG but if your looking for i.e. 1911 penny and want a gouby X look at the 1911 penny ones BIN If you want one i have about seven picked up this year ,the ones sold over a week or so people spot and pay £80 plus on average. Not being clever but other people are buying them and reselling all from bin. IF you want to compete not a problem............if you want something cheap BIN. My collection is complete as far as i want to take it and turned all my searches off as not interested in ebay. Be lucky. Pete.
