Crow ....we are all collect-a-holic on here...its part of being on the forum

Crow a full set should always work out cheaper than buying them individually , thats why ebay is full of them. What i meant is some collectors will pay a bit over the odds for the one they want as not bothered about the rest.
  4. The LCA is on the site for anyone interested

    More Pennies

I am not sure its done deliberately Mike as we are only talking a couple of pound. Its just they cant be bothered taking pictures of every coin so just use the same one. Hundreds of dealers on ebay listing 1961-67 pennies as just keep selling them.

They are nice coins Crow. As you mention chances are part of the fifteen coin set. I only collect pennies so probably as always pay a bit over for the one i want. The full set you can pick up for £300/£400 so hope if the couple you bought are what you wanted and sensible money , your happy.

Good your keeping a smile Matt i would of been pissed off. As i mentioned to you i bought one for a £1 you can see it on compleated listings and was sent a normal one. However not anywere near as good as yours. The red light was from memory he had sold the same coin and used the same picture a couple of days before.

    COINEX 2015

I have never been Leo. But think with costs to get in parking and more high end ,you might be better at Birmingham . Again i have not been but think its more the expensive range rather than the common ones and dealers get busy in the morning on the first day,so maybe not got the same amount of time to chat.

    Hi Grade Model Pennies

Not the patterns Jon the models. I have been buying quite a few but getting them in high grade is not easy as think they were played with or thrown away. Also dont think like currency people put them away and not many collectors of them. You can get a couple of good examples for £20/£30 and think thats were most people stop. I recently bought a few just to get one in a job lot and the others low grade. If you want a couple Jon i will post them you FOC. But you might think they are RANG. Pete.

A lot different and you should understand that . Three people giving an independent view on a coin and an auction house going through hundreds / thousands. Over and out before i feel bullied Pete.

Sure everyone understands that Dave but you and most people on here does not pay the £99 so dont understand why your all bothered. If it was £1 or £1k you would not be interested so why keep going on about it.....

    LCA September

Thanks Nick. I am of the opinion of if buying at auction i like to view or get someone i trust to have a look for me. Dont like bidding blind or from photos from any auction unless the coin is cheap and happy to take a gamble. Surely i have the right to give my opinion and not just agree with everyone else . I am happy to stand on my own two feet against 99% of the forum (you brought up the grading side not LCA) and dont just jump on any wagon . Pete.
