All the talk lately about decimal coins I bought two a few years ago as both were different and came with a Royal Mint letter. A 1999 Twenty pence struck on a one pence blank. Royal mint say...A copper -plated steel blank intended for a 1p piece has become mixed in with 20p blanks and has been struck by 20p dies in the normal way. A 2002 SILVER two pence. Royal mint say.....As with the 10p piece of 2001, this coin was struck on a blank intended for an overseas coin. Would think with the letter aswell quite unusual. £95 for both including Special delivery. Pete.

I sold them to Colin G.........Vicky.........

Nice Lot and happy for what i paid as hadnt seen it just put a bid in. The six coin varieties were worth paying for without the folder. I now need to study it all aswell as the photographs included which is a bonus. Pete.

Swanny you didnt buy it so dont be loosing any sleep. You buy what you want What you have bought of me i hope your happy with. If not throw them over your garden fence and dont buy anymore. Why do you keep going on about a cleaned coin you bought.......its getting boring . Dont blame the graders ask the guy who sold it you .........Who know doubt is not bothered If you would like to start a new thread about your CGS experience then we are all happy to read it Please also remind everyone that when CGS received your coin they scratched it . Leave it with you but all i am trying to do is sell a few coins at a fair price. Your post in this thread was not called for. Pete.
