It may not be verd/corrosion but a common date and sometimes you see coins stored that show signs of blue (on bronze ) mainly from pvc ,chemicals or tinges of verd (green/bright) that will show under a bright light. Hope i have not put you off as a lovely coin for the money. Be lucky. Pete. -

Just as i am aware not selling coins over £100 and hope someone is happy with this one. This one i paid over that for ...........But not a problem Its graded CGS 78 UNC and the wider date width variety. I sent a box for slabbing and another that got slabbed 80 i will keep, a duplicate. CGS say £150. I will be happy if its going to a penny collector £95 including postage.

Its a lovely coin and for the money was a good buy Its only my opinion and thats all...... so maybe i am being picky,i dont have it in hand. A lot of the reverse does not just look like dirt and thats my only question. On the reverse between the P in penny and the tide line ,just wondered what was going on ?. Its a nice coin for the money though ,so maybe just me Happy collecting and just wrapped the FOC penny up..... and will post tomorrow Pete. -

Another daft one. 1989 £1 silver proof and another i dont want. CGS Graded 91 and they say £31.........Dont Know were the extra pound comes from. £15 again including postage.
