Yes Mike i am aware now . The thing i was trying to do was just make people no what may happen. I didnt have a clue and without warning just shut it down. I have not got a problem with people making checks but feel they could of dealt with it better. Perhaps they could of made things easier ,rather than just give me a headache Pete. -

Hat off Prax and a nice coin
-
I have a batch of coins imo all good grades and searching on the internet and looking at previous posts wondered if i would be better to continue with c.g.s. Recently i aquired quite a few slabbed NGC pennies and will leave them as they are(i do buy the coin) and a couple MS65. Some however had verd and one a scratch on the coin not the slab, these i left alone. Do NGC not reject coins with carbon spots/verd ?. Also i notice if i put the uin on the website some dont come up ,and wondered if i was doing something wrong ?. Pete.

I dont look anymore since buying a nice one ,but noticed one just sold on ebay
-
Thank Rob. I wasnt sure after the other opinion on grade.
-
Sorry meant a bigger difference than two grades ie 70-75-78-80 etc
-
I would like to know rob as always learning....What would you grade the coin mentioned please ?.
-
Rob your far from dense and i appreciate your knowledge and learning from you. What he has said is ........... Subject to what Mynki relays ....... i will have a quick look ..... something he did not have to do. Without looking properley 78 - 80......... ?. If one grader and i am sure you know all three says 70 then unless a bigger difference than ten the lowest grade is attributed. It was not Paul.............Think ( grader ) he meant on a good day (best for Mynki) thats what he might get. I have submitted a lot of coins and one grader will be different than another.....thats why you get three opinions. Its no different than on here ,they look at two hundred + coins a week they are never all going to say E.G. 75 But unless a big difference (more than ten) they will confer and give reasons why the coin may be attributed higher.

This one and numerous others not mentioned in anything Jerry. A couple of people on the forum Chingford and Alfnail have helped me so much over the last twelve months would like to say thank you. Pete.

Not much happening on here. I recently bought a 1858 ,it came from Heritage and a variety i was made aware of about twelve months ago. Although a lot dont really look at coppers i am now really keen on all the varieties. Just been talking to Matt who thought it was worth sharing a picture. Its the 1858 with the F over B in DEF. I Have spent the last twelve months looking at every 1858 (well almost ) on ebay and found three. Pete.

Dont really understand the reason for the post then If you thought it was less should of bought it and give it him. Sounds a good earner
-
Really interested as most on here are not CGS............ Boooooooooooooooooo Anyway he is a nice guy that looked at your coin and gave you his opinion. What did he say ?.
