    1882 London Mint penny ?

    Whenever these 1882 no H's come up, there always seems to be some tell tale mark under the date. Thats why i prefer to leave them alone.

    Interested in this penny know and want to know opinions. Can anyone tell us some facts i.e. teeth numbers or anything that determins its a specimen ?. Sure Terry is more interested than me. Must be something in his coin if Michael Gouby offered £200. Pete.

    Think you will find not many gaps. That is just a few of the scarcer ones i think will be sold. The 1882 no H has been discussed numerous times and not one i look for anymore as always have doubts. Pete.

    I have seen similar Terry . Although was told they had been laquered / varnished and hard to tell from a photo.
