Off the coin subject, but such a shame for him to go off the rails .The guy obviously has issues seeing him take the route he has over the last few years.
-
Would also help people who have not read the recent posts to put your link up as nordle above. Thank you again for putting together the site and a superb reference.

Just been reading about these in the paper today. A guy from nottingham just been fined £1800. It says its illegal to fly drones within 150 metres of a congested area or open air event. Then goes on to say the pilot must keep direct visual contact with the drone. Suppose its just a case of common sense.

Thanks Matt.

An 1870 i purchased. It was previously sold at LCA jun 2014 Lot 2448 i only mention this as although its slabbed cgs dont have a picture. Its the scarce close date 11 teeth and graded 82 cgs 3212. Pete.

I think you should try on just a plain black card or similar background paul. Dont know if its me but the lines and marks detract my eyes from the coin with the background your using. Sure you will get there mate and definately worth investing the time to get it right. Were is BRG when we need him ?.

They are really nice and you can tell the 1879 is a proof. I have an 1876 H specimen penny. Its c.g.s. 26028 but not as nice as that.

I will have to assume he did not write any . Or maybe everyone who has an interest in pennies on here is to young to remember. -
I think the last one looks best Paul. You can always try 331 though.
-
I have found paul at c.g.s. (the guy who graded it) really helpful when i have asked him a question a couple of times. The difference will be quickly explained by him and worth a quick phone call to find out.

They look ok nordle only thing is you will have to keep the cushion for as long as you keep collecting. Nice site and some nice pennies.
-
Looking at other pictures the ones i like in silver always appear to look better on a black background. The bronze/copper look better on white IMO. Only a thought but maybe worth trying both.
-
Auction up for anyone interested.

Results are up.

Penny Model 1 error (extra E)
PWA 1967 replied to Dutchgreener's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
I would just post it to London coins with a realistic reserve if you want to sell it ,the next auction is December. Dont think with a model penny the slab would increase the value in the uk although stand to be corrected. I have just had a quick look on the cgs site and cant find any ,so maybe its not something they grade? Hopefully someone on here may know. Good luck i am sure you will make the right decision. Pete.
