Before my time then. Being a kid in Leigh i used to go in a small arcade / shop all the time that was owned by Gary mcneish who is Petes brother so the Buzzcocks were my first band about forty years ago. -

Early dance music changed everything ,you didnt go out for a few hours it was a few days or ibiza for a few months. Music changed from Joy divsion to New order almost overnight...... it was a good time from bits i remember. Fortunately they started making it to hardcore and was time for me to retire -

Thank you for posting AardHawk. Is there anything of interest in any of the other articles please,possibly something that is not mentioned anywere else ? I have know old coin monthly to check I have Part 6 on the computer but cant find or have any others.

If you go into the LCA website previous results and just type in verdigris there are lots of silver coins pictured and described with it on . Its definately not impossible for silver coins to have it ,although i am led to believe its much easier to remove as does not get into the metal as it can with a higher content copper coin.

Depending were you live probably to take them to one of the shows they go to ,not sure if they are at the Bloomsbury one. The London one is the 2nd of June although again you would need to check. Atleast taking them in hand you can put any variety / type on the paperwork .This also allows you to pay and get things sorted face to face if you are not already a member.

Going back to the 1953 Crown that Jon blyth is selling......... its at £135 with a day left and could buy two full sets for that or there abouts. Why are people prepared to pay so much....... I just cant understand these commom proof prices for one coin as although it may look nicer than some ..........plenty to choose from -
