  4. Its more to do with the costs involved getting them posted to the UK that effects the price.

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

When you say honest i dont think the seller is doing anything wrong personally. There are loads of them (fake coins) and readily available ,unfortunately its the people who resell them as genuine that are the problem and they will always find them. Not every collector wants to spend alot of money on the genuine coin so maybe fills a gap with a copy. If its who i think it is he has been or was a dealer for years and if not there are boxes of decimal sets turn up regular so nothing untoward there. Only my opinion Pete.
  6. I think you may of saved yourself a few quid. The seller used the same image for different years and doubt the picture of the obverse was 1911.
  7. Was this a coin you had looked at and viewed Rob as you seem quite sure and respect your opinion. Could it not of been or atleast the bidders thought was an unrecorded Rev B Copper Proof ?. I still cant get my head around why there was so much interest

    Newbie Alert.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Which coins do you have an interest in ?.
  9. Yes i am sure your right Jerry although annoying when your watching something and some Sweet talker sneaks in Not that i would have any chance........They would not understand me
  10. Problem with bidding on line........if you bid at the same time as a couple more but yours registers last you may end up bidding more than you wanted especially if larger increments. Sometimes i feel online bidders wait until any intial interest has gone ,then next bid will hopefully be just that.

    Calling NORDLE

I realise people have more to do than come on here and some lose interest and move on. I must be losing interest as only bought about twenty over the last week or so Might even put the auction on in a bit and press the button on a couple of the hammered things Good luck on anything you may be interested in Rob
