    Bramah ENGLISH REGAL COPPER COINS

Another decent copy £90 including postage. Will leave it up untill wednesday and then pass on
  3. Yes although prices may be high for some high quality coins some are cheap and i keep buying them to put away especially varieties. I dont need to say which but the one year i have looked at daily 1934 slabbed UNC at £50 is an example. Another year 1907 twenty seven have been graded but only one as 80 £125 i am not saying thats cheap or what its worth but the other twenty six were probably sent by people who thought the coin was nice. In UNC problem free CGS £75 i think is quite hard to find.

  5. After working my way through a large box i bought from Rob RP coins i am now happy to get rid of them. Hundreds and just want to cover postage as they are all over the flat. Will leave this up for a week then drop them at the local charity shop. If anyone is after something specific month/year or wants 10/20 for interest will just charge postage. Pete. I

I am brain lacking Brian but still agree with your post...Matt is spot on

    2009 Blue Peter Olympic 50p

Obviously not a recent issue and i am sure they get hundreds of enquiries. Currently a coin being sold on ebay with a royal mint letter dated 1980 with apologies for the delay in the reply
  8. Well i can only say what i have bought cheaply . It was with regards rejected coins and these will sell if left in a slab cheaper more often than not. If as the ones i bought had been unslabbed i would of probably paid more, the post was that if a coin has a yellow ticket it does not generate as much interest.
  9. Would probably fetch more though if broken out in some instances, the one slabbed wasnt rejected but forgetting about the coin/seller I have bought some rejected coins recently for my own collection and got them IMO for less than if they would of just been sold raw. A couple now broken out i am happy with as scarce and the yellow ticket does put people off.

Could not agree more Matt. He can do what he wants with them but just being decent could of said he did not want to sell them for the money we offered . SUFFOLK COINS ..........BOOOOOOOOOOOO
  11. I dont think many people will be prepared to bid against each other way over and above what its worth just because of the ticket. It only takes two though. Interesting thread and glad i dont buy proofs
  12. Its on the TPG thread CGS penny 3rd Jan 2015.
  13. Matt it wasnt rejected although its been talked about on here before

How Are US TPGs with English Coins?

Its not costing much wherever you send them if the coins worth a few quid £200 + and you think its nice. Everyone has different opinions so just send them ,the results from your own opinion as against the other are whats important. Personally its not just the grade but any faults . £15/30 a coin if you want it slabbed is upto you
  15. View the coin and do the research first

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

Although i know its not one on your site ,have you got any idea how many are about in high grade please. The one i bought is in a cgs slab 80 (good lustre) and spent ages looking but not many in high grade apart fom the Bamford / alderley one which is the same coin ?.

abdul malik bin marwan gold dinar 76AH 696AD

Hat off and a fantastic post. Maybe close to £5 million What do you think its worth ?.
  24. £6K seems a lot although so does £4300
  25. You make your own decision on grade but 70 A/Unc and coins graded 80 or above from circulation should be nice so forget about circulated coins above 88.
