  1. I would just get it reslabbed and put in auction with a sensible reserve and get rid of it...... The number of half penny collectors who will spend a few quid is better being left to an auction house and left with them to maximise the money. Maybe as PCGS slabbed Heritage may be an option.

    Greetings all!

Yes Jamie you are like me a penny loony. You have one 1862 and still buy another
  5. I would think you cant sell what you dont own and in this case had to be returned. Its like any back to back unless you have the authority to sell on someone elses behalf your an agent etc you cant just sell something that does not belong to you

Good afternoon and welcome. Hope your not one of the penny loonies Pete.
  7. Hi Duncan. Have you got a picture please sounds like a Brockage. If not a picture what year is it ?.
  8. Thats a no brainer must be re slabbed...maybe they will do it FOC. The benefit is they are not going to change the grade,i would send straight away making a valued point that it was not attributed before
  9. I found one today in a bag of 50ps.........what a load of TRIPE
  10. Hat off Dave and glad it arrived safely
  11. Think its more to do with the coin not being in circulation. Once the original coin is being used nobody is probably bothered.
  12. Ali will have them for sale by the weekend 50p each or twenty for £15. Thats not me working it out wrong but how Ali sells them
  13. Paddy i suggest you dont answer your door in the next half hour when they knock
  14. Unfortunately the fact its illegal to own one just bumps the price up. They will appear and think ALI is already on it
  15. Maybe Mike has just bought them all
  16. Well if its ok ...i think i better get my bally out These were sent out in trust as a gesture to help. Pete.
  17. Again Human greed ...got a coin for nothing and try to sell it for £400-600....... i am glad they pulled it
  18. Sorry but i am a bit thick Are they saying one can never be sold even in a few years. There are lots of trials being sold now and previously of other years DNW sold a 20p one not long ago....from memory ?.

    1946 & 1949 Brass Threepence

Definately possible. If the coins right and nice chances are someone else will want it. I have gone over the top sometimes ....talking hundreds not just a couple of pound and not got the coin / Banknote i was after. Alternatively got them at pretty much my maximum. Price with a minute left £100......Bid £600 and ended up paying very close to that........just making numbers up as trying to explain. Throwing big bids in .....still be happy to pay that amount.
