    Brexit and money talk

You just stay in Spain Matt and if you ever come back bother about it then Oh..... and have a word with the Spanish postal system as the coin you sent has not turned up yet
  2. Never even checked just went off you being happy Main thing is you have one and its better than the other IMO .....So BIGGER HAT OFF OBV 1 colon to gap after GRA Rev B First one of date to Gap.....P of penny to GAP. So 1+B Hopefully right amongst others
  3. The more i think about it ....i dont have a clue how you spot them. Your brain must be sharp to notice all these at a show..........The 1913 at a show there must be loads, and need to check them which takes time unless your only after one or two coins.....i.e That particular one F175 would only take a glance..........but only if you want one Is it your only looking for a couple now . I would think i knew indicators for coins i was missing but you must spend hours trying to find something a dealer wasnt bothered about / missed at a show . Jerry whats the secret or do you walk round with a book or notes list of indicators ?.
  4. Well spotted again Jerry The F175 is hard to find HAT OFF.
  5. . Sure you can find a better one Matt

    Ebay's Worst Offerings

I am sure he is Gary although i have never met him or bought from him. Most people tend to be nice though and smile when you give them a few quid. He does sell some really nice coins though just the prices always seem high on ebay.
  9. I was born in 1967 so just been trying with one of them. The wife just asked me what i was doing...........

    Double Florins

I did try to help......Dont have a clue why. Anyway just a thank you would of done but you have obviously not got the word in your system or just not bothered. Not a problem i will continue to try and help others.
  13. Just been looking on ebay Mike
  14. Thanks Mike. I had assumed it must of been to do with the mintage numbers. So i need to look for a mint roll of 1961 as £5 each seamed steep
  15. Sorry if this is a daft question.......probably Looking at Pennies 1961-67. Why is the 1961 harder to find and more expensive ?. I know we are not talking hundreds but still a big difference in dealers selling other years for £1 and the 1961 for £5. Maybe as mentioned a daft question but ........?
  16. That was a good buy Mike and better than mine
  17. Thats quality and the type of thing i would buy........picking them up though and i can understand why
  18. And if you do please let us know Alternatively if your selling them i will give you 99p for one
  19. Why not just send the picture to the royal mint and ask them ? Alternatively just phone as sure they will know. I would of thought there must be some trials that were sent to possibly companies who manufacture machines to ensure they work.....only a guess.

    silver dipping

Looks better IMO . Otherwise and my way is...... if you think it needs cleaning and dont like it then dont buy it. Chances are you will never be happy with it and after cleaning it nobody else wants it either. Pete.
