    Help Please

Hi Everyone , i am new to the forum and would like some advise. I have a 1976 Gold Full Sovereign and just had a look in Spinks book. It is saying that a 1976 proof is extremely rare , i personally think that this is a proof ( but has some wear) because of the polished background. I have a few other sovereigns which are uncirculated and a have a matt background. Could someone please give me some information and some type of value. Thanks Coolsun

Thanks for the quick reply. Whats the difference between the edge milling on a proof and uncirculated?
