Your list. No mate, no. Do yourself a favour, delete it.

I wonder if Izzy Brunel was on the short list? Boudicca would've been perfect. J Arthur Rank. Surely rhyming slang?…...

Nice one Chris. Let's not forget C for crap, and T for tat...

And here! -
Agree 100%. Having peered into the murk I'd grade VF, or VF+ if being generous.

Help with Grade: 1857 Halfpenny

Yup. Good fine. -
Just spent half an hour on ebay for the first time this year. Reading the descriptions for these I'm guessing the seller is an estate agent during the hours of daylight.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1930-GEORGE-V-HALF-PENNY-COIN-FULL-OF-CHARACTER-LOT-115/302597536242?hash=item467437f9f2:g:GFEAAOSw0UBZ7kSX https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1922-George-V-Penny-Coin-beautiful-coin-Lot-113/302597536225?hash=item467437f9e1:g:u0oAAOSwKQ9Z7kBE https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/100-YEAR-OLD-1917-PENNY-COIN-ARMY-STYLE-COLOR-COIN/302597536244?hash=item467437f9f4:g:i9EAAOSwBkRZ7kYX

Rob is quite right, when present, I over S is unmistakable. Here's my own 1820 shilling as a second example.

Peter Rabbit 50p with number 1 on it
Michael-Roo replied to Jinky's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
Repeating that which has been expressed in a guest post: Well said Jinky. A perfectly valid question and this is indeed the right place to have asked it. Forums will always include one or two people who would do well to think before they type. Do let us know what the RM has to say about your coin. -

Coins of England - 2018 - Spink
Michael-Roo replied to Colin88's topic in British Coin Related Discussions & Enquiries
I would certainly hope so! -
GVF? Though it's difficult to tell from a scanner. Check the alignment. If the reverse is upright it is very rare.

There were also a handful of trial pieces struck in silver. The allexpress jobs are probably intended for plating. No doubt ebayers will soon be finding examples of this one in a grandparent's attic.

Oh, and the yellow Gibson Johnny Thunders is playing in the clip? I have that too.

'Pills' (above) In the late 1970s I was in band called Crash Course with Pete Wylie. During live shows we would bash out this song as our encore tune.

B. No doubt you and I are kindred spirits. I grew up in Toxteth, Liverpool. This music was meat (er, well no, I'm veggie, LOL) and drink, and I can't think of a better exit. We visited Liverpool to see Toots and the Maytals play a club show a few years back. They tore the place apart. Here's another for those who may not know their work….. And another fine tune from my youth. Around our way, if you weren't black (I'm pink, therefore I'm Spam) you were suede head. Cool times...

Another small batch I'd think worthy of sharing. Swing your pants folks….

But hey ho.... Here's my tuppence worth to help it all keep ticking along.

I don't think Eugenie would be best pleased if she knew a mate of mine was responsible for posting this Chris.

Both beaded.

Beyond BC? There are a number of objects around our house which fit the bill, but if we're talking coins I have a few Greek, Alexander the Great, Philip of Macedon etc. and also these: Dolphin money from the Black Sea area, 5th to 3rd century BC. They were cast on poles, attached in rows at the tail end (think sprouts in their natural state), then tapped off when cooled.

Just had a look. An erroneous listing I think.

Not really Dec. Common, second busts. Nowhere near VF. Holed. I wouldn't have given £25 for it.
