Cheers Stu. Appreciated. ???

I stand corrected buddy. Yes it was Omega_2. I think we are wasting our time reporting them although its always reassuring to see the duds listed on here, keeps me from making an ass of myself again. ???

This is the same seller who sold me that dodgy James 1st shilling a few months ago Stu. After a lenghthy process and him calling me the crook i received a refund. I left him negative feedback for it, only for me to check his listings a few days later and my feedback had disappeared leaving him 100% again. He has quite a few "hammered" coins listed just now amongst other stuff. I wonder how much of it is genuine? I see his other one never got unlisted either. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Interesting-Item-Metal-Detecting-Find/152814735199?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160727114228%26meid%3D7072a55585bf4ac8837c0a7d8ee04bcd%26pid%3D100290%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D4%26sd%3D152814735199&_trksid=p2060778.c100290.m3507

Its damn well out of order. As Vicky mentioned, there are a lot of sellers with genuine crowns for sale, but cannot sell them because of scumbags like this. I would be gutted to find out a few months down the line that i threw away £250 for a £4 replica!!
-
I might purchase four of them for £15. The customers seem to love them!!! ?????

I,ve just reported Ebay to Watchdog about fraudulent coin listings being sold for fortunes, even although I know for a fact that the listing has been reported numerous times. Ebay should have a UK coin expert online watching the listings. It would not take much for them to spot the fakes and cut them off at source. Ebay would also still generate the same income or more if it was knownly cleaned up, with coins sold by genuine sellers.

He has been selling shed loads of fakes, from halfcrowns to crowns over the last couple of weeks and raking in a fortune. Guess he is going to have a Merry Christmas. I feel sorry for genuine sellers trying to make a living. But how on earth does he manage to keep his 100% feedback, are coin collectors really that naive?

This one is just starting to get ridiculous. ... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Victoria-Silver-Crown-1839-Sealed-Capsule/142615445544?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

Are these overdate 1841/1 Queen Victoria Pennies rare?
-
Here's this chancer again trying his luck again with an 1839 "silver" crown found in Grandads house. Nearly all his listings over £20 look fake to me. He has already pocketed £210 with a replica 1845 crown. I,ve reported him again. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Victoria-Silver-Crown-1839-Sealed-Capsule/142615445544?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

What do you think about these crowns this seller has up for auction? The CTO in Victoria seem to be joined and the I in them seems to be doubled. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Victoria-1890-Silver-Jubilee-Crown/142613112651?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649

The very bottom of the belt buckle looks different ???.

Worth a tenner....whats wrong with it? ?
-
For someone who rakes about grandads house looking for coins...and knows nothing about coins...he has suddenly more listings with what type of ccondition he thinks they are in. I wouldn't touch any of them with a bargepole. His 89/90 crown coins look to have 2 I's in Victoria.
