  1. Hi, would anyone be able to tell me what error this is? Please
  2. Lol good job I corrected it. Are wpc's allowed
  3. Sorry of not PC don't know how that happened.
  4. Is that good then. I work in a betting shop and look at every coin. This one came out PC a change bag from post office as did the 50p
  5. Hi nordle11, if I hold 2 together my one is slightly bigger by maybe a mm
  6. I think the edge bit makes it the broad strike not sure though only going by what I read on that site.
  7. I just found a site where a guy had the same edging for a 2011 10 p but he didn't have any design missing from coin. People said it was a broad strike . Because the 10p I have has parts of design missing this is apparently known as an off centre broad strike. Would anyone agree?
  8. Thanks rob I just checked them the only things that ain't magnetic are 50p and 20ps.
  9. Or are they made from nickel plated steel
  10. Wow didn't even know them websites existed lol. It says on description it is made from iron. How can I tell of mine is iron or cupro-nickel? If it is a copy it's not a very good copy lol. It sounds the same as other 10p when you drop it.
  11. Is that just an ordinary 10p? This is the one I found the other day
  12. I will try and get it weighed. I don't think it is fake though. How much should it weigh? I know there are fake £2 coins I've had a few of them at work. This one sounds the same as other 50p's when you drop them. Have you seen my 2014 10p? The royal mint want me to send it to verify it's authenticity, but I've had coins go missing in the post before so don't want to send it.
  13. Lol. If you want to clean a coin, what is best thing to use?
  14. Thanks Mr T. Tom this is front of the coin, it don't look or feel like a fake.
  15. Hi, could anyone tell me why this 1910 penny is a different colour from all my other pennies. Has it had something done to it? Thankyou for any help
  16. Sorry I couldn't get a clearer picture. If you look at harp it has lines both ways. Also it's like the lions have an outline. The fifty pence words are bigger. The line dividing the harp and lions look bigger. The bottom line at base of the shield the dots look different. The dots on the shield have patches that are normal and some patches it looks like there's extra dots. Bottom of harp the dots around it looks more like sharp teeth.Sorry for the essay

    2014 10p

Thankyou. Thought it would only be worth a couple of quid at the most. If I do decide to sell I'll keep you in mind. I also have a 2013 50p where the harp lines go both ways and the dots by the lions look like they've been double printed in places, but not all over.
  18. Hi everyone. I've only been collecting coins since last year. I've come across this 10p. The edge is smooth with no lines, on beading round the shield there are no letters and the top of 2014 and some other letters are barely there. Sorry I don't know the technical terms for these. Is it worth keeping hold of? Also how do I post a photo of it? Thanks for any help

    2014 10p

At the moment I'm going to keep it as I've only just started collecting. If I was to sell how much would it be worth? At a guess. It's still fairly new so I don't think I'd get much, if it's even worth anything. I started by collecting olympic coins. And also have some old English coins but not many
