Have a look on YouTube for his Letterman interviews. -
I think the only reason that was pulled was due to the genuine seller being informed, & he complained. Could be wrong though...

1850 shilling discovered in a tin from my youth
mrbadexample replied to georgie's topic in TPG Discussions
If you hadn't posted I'd be blissfully unaware. However, I fail to see the value in a statement from an authority like the press. The same press that tell us about the £3000 50ps "selling" on ebay? -

It looks suspicious to me. That extra bit of metal joining the leaf to the edge at 2-3 o'clock on the reverse is present on the fakes, isn't it? -
Ahh, does this just mean that CGS no longer exist, but LCGS carry on regardless? Not quite so significant in that case.

I spotted a seller once who had the same 1905 half crown listed three times. Once individually, and twice as parts of sets. If I'd had more cash he would have been explaining why he couldn't fulfil the three orders I'd placed...

If you want me to spend on a coin, I'd like to be able to see it. I don't think I'm alone in this respect. -

I look at the one after BRITT, because until you mentioned it the other day I wasn't aware of the difference in the other one. -

Not very bright, are they? The BM is about the last thing I look at, since it's usually difficult to make out on a photograph. I reckon the colons before and after BRITT are the easiest, and it would have to be pretty rough not to be able to make those out. -
