6 Peter Rabbit 50p coins needed

    That's a hare.

    More Pennies

Judging by the plugged holes that were posted on here somewhere, I'd say yes. You'd always know but it would be a lot easier to live with. The problem comes when it's subsequently sold on...

    More Pennies

No, it was one of those times the quote box wouldn't disappear but I managed a successful edit. You must have been quick.

    More Pennies

Nah, I'll let Mike have whichever one he wants, and that's nothing to do with me not being able to afford either.

    Bar top ideas?

You can keep your grilled Bear. I'll have a Les Hiddins please.

    Both of those now.

    Bar top ideas?

We'll all be hammered Pete, it's a party.

    Bar top ideas?

    Where's the dartboard going?
  9. Worth having a word with your bank? I'd class that as an unauthorised transaction.

    Bar top ideas?

Don't forget, if you use bottle tops most of them will have a kink in them from being levered off the bottle.

    Bar top ideas?

I like that but as you say, 5 years is a bit lightweight.
  12. I wish I could get a job in journalism. I can make stuff up just as well as the next bloke. Probably better, actually.
  13. It's a mint error Pete, if it's the wrong shape. Hang on to it, whatever you do.

All received now. Thanks very much.

Sealby Coin & Medal bulletin June 1964

I know this is a long shot, but I'm looking for a copy of Sealby’s Coin and Medal Bulletin, June 1964. I would also like The Numismatic Circular, April 1950. If anyone has these, or knows where I might get them, please let me know. Ta very much. MBE

Sealby Coin & Medal bulletin June 1964

Ah yes, of course. I think the document I was looking at was auto-transcribed from a scan - I did correct it from this: Sammut J. "Lascaris and His Countermarked Copper 4 and 2 Tari Pieces." Sealby’s Coin anal Medal Bulletin, June 1964, pp. 205-207.

Sealby Coin & Medal bulletin June 1964

Well the second wouldn't hurt, for a bit of further information, although I do have what I need. Couldn't be sure which article would be most helpful. Thanks though Rob.

    2nd attempt!

Well, if it's not a very discerning jay, perhaps.

Sealby Coin & Medal bulletin June 1964

Many thanks kildonan for the scan of the first article. It's given me what I needed to identify the countermarks on this 2 tari, so no real need for the other article I don't think.

    New 5 pound note

I'm not convinced they will. As Pete says, it's only the AA01 part that's of interest, and so many of these have been put away in mint condition that in 100 years' time supply will probably still outstrip demand. You'd probably get more for an AA02.
  21. Not British but a nice lamination flaw on this Swedish 2 öre:
